I was promised to call back from a plumber today about services that were on the bid that I accepted to be performed at my house that were not completed. I also believe I was charged for the services. No one has been in contact with me additionally, when the plumber came he left the lock box with the key to my home completely open for anyone to come up and take the key. So far, I am very displeased with my service and how I have been treated. Update: The owners of this business went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of. I genuinely think the above was just a one off and you can trust this company with your business.

Huge shout-out to Gary and the team at Austin's Greatest Plumbing! They replaced our water heater, upgraded our system, and fixed a leak. Their communication was top-notch--they proactively called me with part updates and scheduled the repair immediately once they arrived. Professional, knowledgeable, and reliable. Our water system is working better than ever! (Now we can take hour long shower without worrying about running out of hot water 😃🚿)

Sean did a fabulous job! We have had many plumbers come and go through our office over the years, these guys are the best so far. Scheduling was easy and the work was done quickly. Very pleased overall.

I am extremely disappointed in the lack of transparency and the "scare tactics" used by this company. I called them for a slow-draining sink. They first insisted on a full re-pipe under the sink to fix a leak "the right way." Once that was paid for and finished, the technician claimed the kitchen sink line appeared "broken or badly damaged." I was charged for this diagnosis, only for them to eventually find that the line was not damaged at all. It was simply grease buildup at a bend. They cleared the grease—which should have been the primary focus from the start—but only after charging me for unnecessary re-piping and a false claim of structural pipe damage. It is hard to trust a company that jumps to the most expensive, "worst-case scenario" conclusions for a simple clog. If you value honest diagnostics, I suggest avoiding this business.

We had our hot water heater go out on a Saturday evening. On Sunday, I first called a different big name plumbing company who said because it was a Sunday, there would be a service call of $299 to diagnose the problem. I looked online and found Austin's Greatest Plumbing, which was locally owned and had great reviews. I gave them a call and one of the owners, Rachel, said she could get someone out the same day and there was no service fee to diagnose it. Within two hours, we had their technician, Gio, come out. I needed a new hot water heater and the next day, it was installed. Before I had it installed, I had a few questions and spoke with Jason, the other owner. First off, I was amazed that I would be able to speak with the owners themselves. Jason took the time to answer all of my questions and explained the quality of the unit that I was getting. The availability and communication with this company was outstanding, and they did an excellent job with the installation. I have a lot of people ask me for a plumber that I would recommend and I don't like to recommend anyone I don't trust. Now, I feel that I would recommend Austin's Greatest Plumbing to those that ask me for a fair and honest plumbing company that, in my opinion, does outstanding work and service. Very pleased.

Today Star with Austin's Greatest Plumbing gave me a house call to see about this locked drain which also was not draining correctly. He called before coming which I asked for since my place is hard to find and he called me when he arrived on our property. He was very personable and answered all my questions. He let me watch what he was doing and he explained it as he went along but I gave him some space after a while so he could work in peace! The stopper was also stuck and I couldn't use the sink without his help. At any rate, he did the job quickly and also gave me an estimate for a corrugated pipe which can sometimes collect bacteria. I thought the service was excellent because he communicated clearly my options and everything he was doing. He was professional and arrived promptly. I don't know what he could have done better but I know that Star is an appropriate name for him! Highly recommend!

We just had two pedestal sinks serviced by Star at Austin's Greatest Plumbing. Star was respectful, conscientious, and hardworking; and though our project job ended up being more work than expected, he honored the original quote. We initially called about our water not being hot enough in the shower, as well as a leaky sink and a faucet handle that didn't work properly. Other plumbing companies were going to charge for the shower water-temp fix, but Star showed us we just needed to push a button (no one else seemed to realize this). He quickly determined the sink leak was from a rusting out drain/stopper; and got a cartridge for the faulty faucet handle. He didn't end up needing the cartridge, and though he had to pick it up, took it off the invoice and will try to return it. We've had some very bad experiences with local plumbing companies recently, and I was glad to find Austin's Greatest!

We had a pretty complex multi-unit plumbing issue that involved several homeowners and a lot of coordination, and Austin’s Greatest Plumbing handled it perfectly. Star, the technician onsite, was outstanding - professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly not just to us, but to the other owners as well. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and really took pride in doing the job right. Also want to mention Rachel, one of the co-owners, who took my initial call and was so easy to work with. She was flexible with scheduling and really helped us navigate the logistics of having multiple parties involved. This is not your typical PE-owned plumbing shop - it’s a local, owner-run business that actually cares about doing things the right way. Great service, great people, and an all-around smooth experience. Highly recommend.

I had a pipe leaking in my foundation. I knew something was wrong for a few days, but I had misdiagnosed it as a leaking valve seat in the shower until one morning there was a large puddle across the floor. 😬 These guys were able to come out within an hour They identified the problem, came up with a solution and had a permanent fix in place within 3 hours of arrival. It’s now better than it was before. They basically bypassed the broken 50+ year old pipe with a new run of pex in the wall between the tub and sink. This required cutting a large hole in my wall, but they made a clean level & verticles (verified with a level) rectangular cut. Price was ~$2600 for all the work. Romie and his apprentice were very knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. Two professionals on top of their game. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

Highly, highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. Background: We needed our PRV replaced and were initially working with one of the larger companies in Austin. The other company said they fixed our issue but it broke after just a few weeks and our water stopped flowing. They wanted to charge us again for coming to fix it and wouldn't be out till the next day so we chose to find a different company. Reached out to Austin's Greatest Plumbing and they were able to come out same day + there was no fee for diagnostics. The techs were super friendly, were able to replace our PRV for 30% cheaper than the other company, and provided a 1-year warranty for the work. Overall, really thankful we found Austin's Greatest Plumbing and will continue use them going forward.

100% Professional. The technician Ezaron and his team legitimately improved our quality of living within just a few hours. Not only did they replace the water heater with an updated unit, but they also added an expansion tank, new ball-valve shut off, and the PRV (I think that’s what he called it).. all in all, our house’s water pressure went from a 35psi annoying trickle, to a 65psi chef’s kiss. We don’t have to wait ten minutes to wash or hands in lukewarm water, our take an hour for a load of laundry.. it’s hot on the spot! Which is a total paradigm shift. I’m so grateful. Thanks, EZ

We had a very tricky situation of a broken water line in our concrete foundation. Because of its placement, accessing the line required disassembling both our kitchen and bathroom. Romie and his team were smart and efficient, figuring out a way to avoid drilling our foundation and fixing the problem. To add, they also restored our house to its original condition, moving all the cabinets and fixtures back, and leaving the house cleaned up. I was so appreciative of the competence and professionalism, and having a fully functional house at the end of the day.

We had a leaking toilet and Austin’s Greatest Plumbing had someone in the area finishing up a job so Gary was able to swing by within the hour to troubleshoot. He diagnosed the issue right away, explained everything in simple terms, and had the leak fixed in no time. Fortunately for us, it was a relatively easy repair, but we felt informed if it was something else and what our options were. He was professional, friendly, and clearly very skilled.
