Absolutely happy! Stopped in to buy a replacement shower head today. The guy at the counter (sorry I didn’t get his name) showed me the problems with my current model and described how to fix it. Did the repair and the original equipment works fine! Appreciate the honesty and advice - I’ll be back for any future plumbing needs!
We're a residential couple with a relatively light kitchen plumbing issue. Sean greeted us and listened to our issue. He kindly explained that he would need more information and gave us his card. When we returned a couple of weeks later he remembered us and took our faucet into the back of the store and proceeded to test and fix our faucet. He explained that there were some more expensive options but they could pose a risk in the install in our older home. He had us come around and showed us what the issue was. All said and done we spent very little money getting exactly what we wanted, but that being said, we'll be going back there for every plumbing project, big or small, going forward.
DIYer slightly over my head. I appreciated the parts guys' time & patience. They helped me devise an economical solution within my skill set to a vexing plumbing installation for a friend who doesn't have a lot of money to spend on plumbing. There is no substitute for hands-on local businesses with real live human beings. The big-box stores just don't cut it. The parts cost considerably less than we were expecting to pay. Convenient location, too.
I came to Aurora Plumbing last week to purchase a part for a ventilation fan I was repairing for a client. I installed the part the same day, but it immediately made loud noises and clearly wasn’t functioning properly. Within an hour, I returned to the store with the part, clean and unused, and explained the issue. To my surprise, they claimed the part wasn’t theirs and refused to refund or exchange it. I was left with no choice but to buy an entirely new ventilation unit from Home Depot just to finish the job. Extremely disappointing customer service and a lack of accountability for the product they sold. In my experience, you’re better off going to Home Depot or Lowe’s where return policies are clear and customer support is more reliable. Response to business owner: I decided to purchase the replacement part from your shop, even though it would’ve cost me about the same to replace the entire unit, because I believed it would be less work and a more efficient solution. That’s why I was willing to pay a bit more for just the part. After seeing your response, I felt the need to share my experience. I returned the item you sold me nothing more, nothing less. Being told that I may have cleaned up an old motor to return it was surprising and disappointing. That’s simply not something I would ever do. I’ve been a contractor for over 30 years and have always taken pride in doing things the right way especially in the contractor business. This situation left me feeling not only let down, but also unfairly judged. It’s a loss on my end, but I hope this review helps bring awareness so others can make informed decisions.
We worked with Anthony at Aurora Plumbing to get all the fixtures and material for our bathroom remodel. He was very helpful in guiding us through this process and selecting the best material for our project. Anthony was always easy to get a hold of, and very responsive to our emails and calls. I definitely recommend Aurora plumbing to anyone looking to remodel their bathroom or kitchen. Great local company to work with!
