Excellent job. Honest company and employees ASI technician Nathan was able to complete a job quickly and correctly. I had hired 2 different companies companies through Angis list, both charged me even though they couldn't do the job. I don't do many reviews but ASI, I am grateful for.
ASI Plumbing came and done a water heater for me. They got here and had it done within a couple hours of me calling them! Extremely fast service, really nice on the phone. Ob my service guy, and yes, that's his name, was a total professional. He wore his shoe covers, and had the place so clean, never knew he was there! He is the man! Thank you OB and the whole ASI team! Well done!
My hot water heater went out unexpectedly the day before yesterday, and as a healthcare worker, not being able to take a hot shower to wash away the germs from work was especially stressful. Logan and Michael from ASI Plumbing came out today and installed a brand-new unit. They were professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything, even teaching me a few helpful things along the way. I truly appreciate their prompt service and expertise.
High Pricing and very rude manager James Reesor. I was told one price over the phone and after installation, the price went up $500. Which really wouldn't have been that big of a deal. The issue was the management. James Reesor at ASI pluming was very disrespectful. If you don't like your job in customer service, you should try a different field James!
They were very professional and I liked the upfront pricing, however, my "cleared" shower drain, started not draining again/same symptoms prior. When I called about having someone return, they asked me how old my house was...well living in the Highlands obviously makes my home old. He went on to explain my pipes are the size of a pinky finger basically and I would be re-charged if they returned. Which I think is bs...I've lived here for over 15 years, never had a plumbing issue until now....I had even gone behind them and used drano just to extra clear the pipes after paying $189.....It was literally right at 90 days and they should stand by their work. I'm now waiting for my 5 star rated plumber to come so I don't do this over and over, Very disappointed bc who has the money to throw away right now?! Make sure to ask what they guarantee, wouldn't have been hard for them to send some one back on a job that they obviously didn't do right:(!
I called to make an appointment on 6/28/2017 at 4:10pm was on hold until 4:40pm. We only have one shower/bath and it was clogged so badly it could not be used and we have a 2 y/o, an 11 y/o, my wife and myself. This was an emergency and the lady said we can get you in 6/29/2017 at 12:00pm. I accepted the appointment and made arrangements to have someone at the house between12-2. An hour later I had a voicemail saying there was a mistake and we don't have anything until Friday the 30th but possibly Monday 7/3/2017. I called and explained the situation and the lady said no way it can happen after a 10 minute conversation she said someone will be there 6/29. I received a call at 9:30am and the plumber said he was on the way. I spoke with the plumber after he broke a pipe snaking the drain, repairing the pipe and he said the old steel pipe must have collapsed inside and they need to cut part of the drywall out on the first floor and replace up to 10 feet of steel pipe. ASI was here about a year and a half ago, cut out a 6' x 3' section of drywall ( the same spot they were going to cut out again) , replaced only the drain and connected the pvc to the same pipe they now wanted to take out. I asked how they knew that the pipe collapsed and I was told it is the most likely situation. I asked if the snake had any rust, metal shards, deposits or anything indicating an internal pipe collapse or any signs of blockage. I was told no but that is the way we have decided to fix the problem. I even called the office requesting evidence of a collapsed pipe. I was told the manager said that is what he thinks too. I told her that I don't like going off guesses, if the whole house needs plumbed that is what it needs. I don't want to cut out my drywall and fix a section of pipe every year and a half, I want a total solution. She said that is what she was told and the manager confirmed. I let them know I would use another company that can actually diagnose the problem before tearing out drywall and pipe( again same area they worked on a year and a half ago). She said ok and I thanked her for her time. Later that day Joe the manager called and said I might want a call. I said not really I just want a solution and evidence before tearing my house open. He understood and asked if I had a clean out pipe. I had no idea but said I will look when I get home from work. Joe said it will be really easy to send a camera if we do and to call back if I find it. The next day I called left a message for Joe informing him I do have a clean out and it is close to the house. I did not hear from anyone at the office. I tried again after the holiday weekend and left another message. Again no call back. I have been scooping water into my sink to empty the bath for days so everyone could shower but no call from joe or ASI. I called again and again he was out right now but will definitely return my call. Monday at 4pm on 7/10/2017 I called our home warranty company to see if this was a covered issue they stated it is and the earliest will be 7/12/2017. The company arrived on time and Josh snaked for 20 minutes, pulled a large sized hair ball out and all the water was gone. No holes, no new pipes, no $900.00 fixing something they fixed before for $1,000.00 a year and a half ago, just sweet blissful drainage. Hot showers and baths without hundreds of buckets going from bath to sink. Go somewhere else.
I had the most elite plumbing crew come through my house and I swear I accidentally hired the Wizard of Oz 😭 Nathan is straight up the Scarecrow — all brains, running the whole operation like a genius. You can tell he’s the one making sure everything is going exactly how it should. Daniel? That man is the Lion — pure courage. Because let’s be honest… someone has to be in the trenches dealing with the… situation 💩 and he does it like an absolute champ. No fear whatsoever. And chris is the Tin Man — all heart. Just a genuinely good guy who cares about doing the job right and making sure everything is taken care of. I cannot say enough good things about this crew. Professional, efficient, and somehow even kept a sense of humor while handling the absolute worst parts of plumbing. The King of the Munchkins KYLE absolutely stole the show—hands down the most amazing Munchkin ever. From the moment he appeared, he brought this perfect mix of charm, humor, and larger-than-life energy that made the whole plumbing unforgettable. His delivery was spot-on, his presence was magnetic, and he had this way of making everyone around him shine even brighter. He made the land of the Munchkins feel magical, welcoming in the best way. If there were a crown for best performance, he wouldn’t just wear it… he’d redefine it. Absolute royalty. 👑 Steven Boone is a wizard because if it wasn’t for him I would never come here in the first place, he is husband material I wish I would’ve married him because I know I would’ve never had the sewage problem to start off with because he would’ve cleaned my pipes and laid that pipe good. If you need work done (especially the kind no one wants to deal with), these are your guys. 10/10 ⭐️
After a terrible experience with this company last year, I found myself needing a plumber on a Saturday and they were on the list for 24/7 plumbing. I called, spoke with Ashley who said she was sending a message to Jimmy, the manager or owner and she transferred me to his voicemail asking me to leave him a message, however his voicemail was full. I called back to let them know, the rep who answered that time assured me I would get a call from him within the hour as she was sending him an email and a fax. I have yet to hear from anyone. Not to mention extensive hold times when calling. Not good business! *Addendum* After a poor response on another review from this company, I would like to add greater detail which has my response to them. "Wow! I applaud you at the most arrogant and ineffective review response ever! Keep up the terrible work! You failed to mention that your technician advised that we would have to do a semi-kitchen remodel and pipe replacement in order to resolve the issue. Strangely the plumber that typically comes for our issues came the following day only to tell us otherwise. The drain was cleared within minutes. You also failed to mention that your tech broke my shower head and you failed to address that, leaving me to pay for a replacement. As far as you having a mishap in communication this time around, per two of your representatives who both communicated to me the same information, I would receive a call from YOU within the hour and I would be worked into your schedule on Saturday or Sunday if I opted to go with your company. But nice try in your attempt to make the customer look bad, which seems to be the case in your response on all of your negative reviews."
It was not my week for plumbing issues. We had a dishwasher installed because ours died Jan 1 (different company) and after that, the hot water stopped working. I looked for a place with good reviews and found ASI so I went to schedule online (usually a disaster in itself). I got to their page and they had an appointment for the next day, Monday, (Sceptical me 'ya right') So I booked it fully expecting them to call and reschedule. They not only did not reschedule but they showed up precisely on time and told us we needed a new tap. While they were here they repaired a shut-off valve under the sink. I got a new tap that day and called to schedule having it installed. They did not have any appointments till Wednesday So I took that. I mean no hot water is a drag but we could live with it. That night the kitchen drain clogged up so we could not even run the dishwasher or fill the sink and wash dishes by hand (ugh) we tried and tried to unplug it but could not. So we called ASI back to beg for a sooner appointment. Amazingly they fit us in that day and Desmond came by and fixed the clogged drain and installed the water taps. We now have hot and cold running water that drains. Time for the bill. I was scared to even ask but when I was told the final cost I was terrific. . One thing I liked about them is that everyone we talked to made sure we knew the price ahead of time. I, till the end, expected them to add on hidden charges and upcharges but that never happened. They are reasonably priced, honest, and do fantastic work I can not say enough good about this company. Do not hesitate to call them!! I liked them enough I added them as a contact on my phone. I WILL use them again.
This company was so unprofessional they look nice Brad talked a good game when it came time to put up he really didn't took him two weeks to do the job he told us it would be done in one day my friend is handicapped he had a stroke when your technician was there to replace a hot water heater he told Ray that oh all your pipes are leaking underneath your mobile home it's going to cost $28,000 to take care of it and were afraid to work on your house cuz the pipes will explode when I asked Brad why they did that he told me all we're going to do some courtesy fixes and everything will be fine it'll be done tomorrow a week later on super bowl Sunday the hot water heater was sitting outside of the cabinet on the grass hooked up so that he could have temporary hot water when I called Brad and asked you about it he said that he didn't have time to follow up that he was really busy and he didn't get home late at night but he would review it the next day the only reason he answered me was because I called him a coward for not calling me back 10 minutes later he answers me oh I'm sorry I was home late and and I thought the job was done and he never double checked anything I would not hire these guys to clean a toilet let alone replace one or any other plumbing issues their customer service sucks and the way they treated my handicap friend I'm going on every social media platform that I can find and I'm writing the same review
I had a hot water copper pipe leaking in my finished basement that I found on a Friday evening. I turned off the water to our house to stop the water leak. I then started looking for the best plumbing company that I could find so I could get it repaired quickly and get the water turned back on as soon as possible. I also was concerned about some of the horror stories you hear about exorbitant charges in such situations. I think I got lucky and did find the best plumbing company for my problem. ASI has an online scheduling service that lets you know when they can come and take care of your problem. In addition to scheduling on line Friday evening , I called Saturday morning and asked if they could give me a close estimate on the cost which they did quickly and correctly. I had scheduled between 12 and 2 pm on Saturday and Plumber Carlton Pierce arrived within that time frame. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. He had my water back on in approximately twenty minutes and also made some suggestions to me regarding my water pipes and other plumbing issues. Although I would not say they are cheap I think their price was very fair and probably less than I would have paid at many other plumbing companies. I was very pleased from start to finish with Mr. Pierce and ASI Plumbing. They will be who I call for future plumbing issues.
Called ASI Plumbing and was told that someone would call me back since he couldn't schedule. Of course, I had to call back the next day to get on the schedule for the following day. Plumber came out on time, diagnosed the problem, and called me. I about fell out of my chair when informed that the price for snaking a small bathroom drain is $189! Wait a minute, I had just received an email a week earlier stating, "$83 or FREE Drain Cleaning Offer". The only small print on the email coupon was: "Must present coupon. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Limited Time Offer." Plumber states, "Oh, you can't use that coupon because this is a rental property." Gee, I thought that the drains in my house looked a whole lot like the drains in this rental property(?) "Nope, it's a commercial property." I still can't find that caveat in the small print. Bottom line: the work was done, the plumber showed up when he said he would be there, expect to pay more than expected and don't bank on their own coupons.
I just wanted to tell everyone here in the Louisville ky or J-town area that if you happen to find yourself in the position that my husband Eddie and I were in on Thanksgiving day of all days with a water leak and couldn't get anyone out here until the next 2 days was the soonest they could come which I have to say that we got extremely lucky having a really hardworking honest man named Carlson do our work for us he explained everything to us and gave us the price and he never once took a break he took care of the one water leak but guess what we actually developed another one the next day in a different area than the first leak Carlton came back out and promptly took care of the problem he was such a hardworking honest up front man I really really appreciate him so much and I plan on using him in the near future for a walk in tub it was such a good to meet Carlton and Asi plumbing is GREAT do yourself a favor if you ever need a plumber call Asi Plumbing I promise you will be HAPPY you did.
We used ASI Plumbing for the first time recently and had a very positive experience. We had used one of the bigger named plumbers in the past and weren't very happy with their work or prices so we tried ASI. Everything about our experience was positive including the lady answering the phone and making appointments, the person who called to let me know the costs in advance and Aaron who was the one who showed up and did the work. Aaron was very nice and made sure to bring in shoe covers and mats to keep our house clean. He explained what was he doing along the way as well. He ended up having to cut a hole in our drywall in the basement to get closer to the clog in the drain and overall was at our house for a good 4 hours making sure he took care of the problem. He also cleaned up everything after he was done, in fact I would say he went above and beyond. The final cost wasn't a surprise and I felt it was very fair. We will no doubt be using ASI in the future for any plumbing needs.
They came out to replace the water heater. They replaced it and I had it inspected. It failed inspection. The plumber came back out after I told them and corrected it. I asked the plumber how to get it re-inspected. Are they contacting the inspector or am I supposed to? She said she would take photos and send it to the inspector. I eventually called their line asking the same question as I did not get anything regarding a second inspection or a sticker to validate it was inspected. How do I get an inspection sticker. The lady assured me she would handle it. It was not handled. I still do not have an inspection sticker because I cannot get direction from them and they did not follow up with me and I've heard nothing about it. They failed to follow through. Incredibly disappointing. I gave up and moved on. It's not my job to have to hound them to do their job. I just tell people not to use them now.
