They arrived on time, repaired the problem (clog) and did not charge alot. We would use them again.

I had heard so many positive things about this company that I was really looking forward to working with them. Unfortunately, reality did not meet expectation and we had a really negative, unprofessional experience. Won’t be using them again.

Very poor response time and does not warranty work or parts. This ‘company’ is extremely unprofessional. I will never use them again.

We had a small leak in some piping in our basement. We had a plumber come out (who, to their credit, came out almost immediately), and quoted the job at $1700. Unfortunately for them, we know tangentially about plumbing and knew that the material cost was maybe 30 dollars...so we declined their offer and started wondering if we should just make the time to do it ourselves (which we just dont have otherwise we definitely would have lol). Fortunately, we contacted Around the Clog who was able to make it out pretty quick (we called the Wednesday evening and they said they could be out Thursday at 9...showed up this morning at 8 - win!). They estimated the job over the phone, at a quarter of what the previous plumber had quoted us as so we already felt good about these guys but when the gentlemen got her this morning...not only were they super respectful (wearing shoe coverings and being really understanding about them having gotten here early - offering to wait if we would prefer) but they also did the job super quick. Then when it was done...I overheard our plumber on the phone with the office going to bat for us...saying 'the materials were xx dollars and they were only here for xx time and he wanted to lower the estimated cost' After it was all said and done...$367!!! We definitely found a go-to plumber. Thanks a bunch!

I have had a positive impression of ATC since they fixed an irrigation pipe leak for me 5 years ago. They did a good job at a fair price, and, they seem to be nice people. It seems that the pricing has gone up as the years have gone by and on a recent job it reached insane heights! Our kitchen faucet sprang a leak and because it wasn't clear where the leak was, we decided to have them come in. It was the output hose on faucet that had sprung a leak and they charged us $175 for a 20 minute job to swap the hose. To their credit, they swapped in a discarded hose from another job and didn't charge us for that hose. That substitute hose leaked around the spray connection because it wasn't the correct part so I obtained a proper replacement hose through Amazon for $16 and swapped it in myself in 15 minutes. Lesson learned: be very clear about costs up front to avoid a bad surprise on the back end because it seems like they now will charge whatever the market will bear! Nobody, me included, likes to be taken advantage of.

I can't rave enough about Doug and his team, who installed a tankless water heater for us. Doug is more than a superb plumber; he is a problem-solver! He listened well, gave us good advice, and never tried to sell us the more expensive models. He looked at our house and needs, and suggested one that would work well for us. He answered every question clearly and patiently, never once making us feel ignorant (like other companies that gave us a bid). He was punctual on the day of installation, did everything he promised, and spent as much time as needed to explain the system to us. When an issue unique to our house arose, he considered the possible cause from every angle and eventually located the problem. And voila! It's solved. We are very happy to have a tankless water heater now and even happier that we've found a trustworthy, reliable, and fantastic plumber. We can recommend Doug and his company without reservation.

THIS IS MY FIRST NEGATIVE REVIEW EVER!! AVOID THIS PLUMBER!!! They responded to this rating to justify their service. They were argumentative and defensive on the phone. They did not try to rectify the situation. I had a leaky faucet. They charged me $370 because their plumber couldn’t figure out how to put the faucet back together. I used to be a long time customer of this business. No More!! To start with they sent 2 plumbers to my house, One stood around and did absolutely nothing and I still had to pay for both. They came to fix 2 leaking sinks in my master bath. It was a straight forward job, but it took them 2 hours to figure out how to put the faucet back on. I was told their rates had changed AFTER they finished the job. It took them 2 hours to fix. I was charged $395 and I didn’t need parts. NEVER AGAIN. (This is the first review I have ever left. I wanted to warn others.)

Doug at Around the Clog is professional, friendly, and an all around great guy to contact for any of your plumbing needs. I will never call another plumber so long as he's in business in Boulder county and the surrounding areas. I had a floor drain back up and he and his crew were able to get to me in less than 24 hours. The team was very professional and had great communication from the start to the finish. They were even able to get in sooner than they had originally expected. Not only did the make effective and efficient work clearing and educating me on what caused the clog, but Doug also fixed my basement toilet and installed a new flange onto the sub-floor in my house. No more wobbly and leaking toilet or clogs! I can definitely and wholeheartedly recommend using Around the Clog. Look no further for your plumbing needs.

Around the Clog was quick to respond and the pricing was right! My tenants said they came when they were supposed to and replaced the water heater with minimal disturbance. Good job. Around the Clog is easy to schedule even a complicated job. I just notified them of a job and they contacted the tenant, did the job and sent me the bill. EZ PZ They take care of my plumbing needs entirely. They call or text the tenants, set an appointment, show up and do the work, then email the bill. I am totally pleased with our working relationship. As a Property Manager, I have 40 different single family homes to take care of. Around the Clog gives me peace of mind when it comes to everything plumbing. They have made it so easy for me to use them, and the work they do is top notch. I highly recommend them for plumbing and drain work.

I have hired Around the Clog three times and been so pleased every time with the level/quality of service and fair pricing. Once for adding a water supply line to the exterior, another time to diagnosis of/repairing brown water in the bathroom, and most recently getting to our house quickly to clean our sewer and rescope it to save our real estate sale from falling through due to a bad inspection done a few days prior. I also love that they never ask for a review but clearly people love them as you can see from their current rating. I almost never leave a review but am so grateful for the great service I received again from this team, I felt compelled to write something.

My experience with Around the Clog was a very positive one. I described the issue I was having with the toilet, which was a very slow and difficult to diagnose/correct leak. They suggested a few potential fixes, but I decided it was time to get an expert in to fix it. She told me about the service charge, and I received a confirmation email with the time estimate when Mike would arrive. Everything went as described, and Mike was able to identify and fix the leak. I paid a fair amount for the replacement parts, as well as the service charge. I am quite satisfied with the end result, and would recommend this company.

We have been dealing with a funny smell in our basement and called the big corporate plumbing companies, they checked our pipes and said nothing was wrong, we did this twice. Finally my husband realized no one checked the sump pump. Around the Clog was receptive and addressed our concerns, they checked everything and guess what? Our sump pump was dead and we had water pooling under our sub floor. Around the Clog didn’t up sell anything and did a great job! THANK YOU, we will call you first for all our plumbing needs.

We were in a real pickle recently, with our buyers requesting a plumbing inspection on the day of closing. We were stressed! I called several plumbers that morning, and Around the Clog was able to arrive first. Their team truly went above and beyond to provide the best overall service we received during our recent move.
