This is a very good company. The plumbers that came out were on time. Explained the process to me.and answered all my questions. They cleaned up after the job was completed.. I am very happy with them

Aqua Dr is the way to go!! they go above and Beyond with reasonable pricing they came out my toilet was falling through the floor. I had a clog that started in the kitchen fixed it and unclogged my clog then I broke my toilet right after they left where the water fills the tank up and they’re gonna come back and fix it. Who does this! This is my go to for all my plumbing needs! They’re honest and don’t hold back and show the problem! Uncle Rob is the best!!! Don’t hesitate you won’t regret it! Pricing a lot depend on how bad the issue is! I love them!!

incompetent is the best word to describe this business. I had asked them to come look at some pipes at my establishment and they did, told me how much it was gonna cost and set up a date to do the job 2 weeks later and told me i was gonna have to close my store. So on the day they came to do the work (which my store was closed) a man named jim told me they couldnt do it cause they didnt have the materials. Why didnt you have the materials? You had 2 weeks to get this stuff and you didnt even bother to tell me? So they looked at it again and set up another date and told me the same thing the first guys told me except it was a little more expensive. Again 2 weeks later my store was closed i had to turn people away (so i lost money again) and jim calls me saying that they gave him the wrong tools. At that point i was fed up and said forget it. Why in the hell did you not have the materials and tools after 2 weeks!!! Like seriously unprofessional and i personally think they did this on purpose for reason i wont say on here but i will never use them again. Also the women answering the phones is a little rude.

So disappointed because I chose based on reviews. Annual routine maintenance sewer rodding work done improperly 6/17/20, by AquaDoctor.Not sure of employee name. He didn't identify himself or put his name or signature on the invoice. I called and explained sewers last rodded in 6/19. No existing problems - needed 2 pipes done as annual maintenance- main sewer drain and sump pump/storm line. I was quoted $365 for both lines. Employee arrived on the morning of 6/17. I reexplained the job, and asked if I needed to run water to flush pipes as he worked. He said not necessary - surprising to me because that has been standard procedure through the years. My husband was home, and I left to run an errand. To my surprise, the employee was gone when I returned in 45 min. For the main line, employee said he couldn't get to the street because pipe was dislocated/cracked and needed to be repaired. Couldn't show on camera because of water in pipe. Claimed notches on the cutting blade were damage caused by our concrete pipe because it was dislocated. He quoted us a $3200 repair estimate involving digging up yard. He also told my husband that the storm sewer /sump pump line was full of water, and he couldn't rod it. He collected $365 by check. Invoice didn't reference second pipe (sump pump/storm sewer), although it was included in quote from company, I showed him the access and explained before I left, and he told my husband about its problems in detail. Due to the uncomfortable vibe and incomplete work, I called our regular plumber who came out on 8/31 to give another opinion. (Not used as usual in June due to Covid issues). He successfully rodded sanitary line, working through roots that had been cut but not flushed from line, but left lying in the pipe forming a clog that would have backed up our house. Our plumber said roots should have been flushed. He then successfully rodded the line to the street and back into the floor drain of the house, then ran a camera both ways to confirm no problem with pipe itself. For the storm sewer/sump pump line, he opened the access valve and saw that it was full of water, and clearly had not been rodded. He cleaned it out with no issues in about 10 minutes. He said the "broken pipe" claim is a common scam. This redo/completion of shoddy work cost us another $400. I sent 3 emails and made a call to Aqua Doctor since 9/1/20 asking for an explanation and a refund. My emails were well documented, professional and appropriate, as was my call. I have received no response from the company at all.

Maybe they provide an incredible service on repair and maintenance but on a repipe I definitely would not recommend this company. Not only the work that was done was messy but they left four leaks as well one of which being a gas leak. I never seen anyone not double check those work like this company. At the end of the job the owner was disrespectful because I said I wanted to pay them n two weeks since they took an additional two weeks to finish the job without even telling me. His response was that Jim had family issues. I understand everyone has their issues at home. But the work has to get done and I'm sure that's not the only employee he has. I had a dying nephew this year along with dealing with my ptsd from my combat tour in the Marines, but I have to keep going on so I don't see how that is an excuse for horrible workmanship and service. He said he would love to take my ass to court and a f***ing lien on my home. I never said I wouldn't pay I just said I would pay in 2 weeks. I ended paying most of the bill that was left and held 2 grand until the final inspection is done which he said he will guarantee he will be there to collect that check. That sounded like a threat but I guess I will see what that means when he comes back.

We live in a 1950s-built home with galvanized pipes and in a community where many homes have issues pumping waste out to the city sewer. Previous owners of our property did not update the piping and in some cases, did not assemble or maintain waste traps correctly. As a result, we have had continuing challenges keeping sewage out of our basement and sinks and showers clear of standing water. We've had Aqua Doctor out to the property several times now, once to replace a bad sewage ejector pump and once to clear our kitchen sink. Over the weekend, we once again had sewage backing up in our basement and my wife was on her own to deal with it. I phoned Aqua Doctor and they came to the house within an hour, diagnosed the issue, showed me the situation on a Facetime call, and offered to snake the main drain pipe at no charge. The clog and backup has been resolved (at least temporarily) and did not cost us a penny. Longer term, we will probably have to replace the galvanized pipes and this will not be cheap but Aqua Doctor has definitely demonstrated their expertise and good will!

Saturday afternoon, after changing the handle on a toilet I saw the cutoff valve at the wall was slowly leaking. I sealed it with duct tape and contacted 3 plumbers to see who could come out Monday to repair /replace the valve. I didn't want to pay extra for a Sunday repair if I could control the leak until Monday. I spoke with Chris at Aqua Doctor and he asked me to send a photo of the valve so he could give me a repair estimate. After talking a bit more he said he would come out Sunday between 8-9 AM and he wouldn't charge extra. He arrived on time with his buddy and after looking at the problem valve, he fixed the problem by simply loosening & tightening the crown nut. He explained why he did that and how it stopped the leak. I then asked him to do a simple bathroom sink fix which he did in 5 minutes. Both he and his partner were a pleasure to deal with; honest, friendly and as he told me "We don't up sell our customers." I cannot recommend Aqua Plumber enough. Daniel Feldman

I noticed Aqua Doctors new and bright signage across the street from the Long Lake train station a couple weeks back. I’ve used a couple plumbers in the area in the past but I called Aqua Doctor instead and very happy that I did! I called on a Monday and a very nice lady answered the phone and got me set up with an estimate appointment on Wednesday. Uncle Bob arrived on time with his helper Marek. Uncle Bob took his shoes off upon entering my house and his pricing to replace my 7 year old sump pump was extremely competitive. He was neat and placed a bag on my floor so no debris would dirty my floor. He was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient. He even went out back to check on where the sump line exists my house to ensure everything looked okay. I’ve never had a plumber do that before. If you need a plumber these are a the folks to call! Very impressed.

I made an appointment for repair and they offered to come out the same day but that wasn’t convenient for me so they came next business day. Bobby ran water in my sink over my 50 year old disposal which had been backing up, but this time it drained easily with no problem. He ran the water for over 10 minutes with no backup. He found nothing wrong with the disposal or the line except an old pop top stuck there which he removed. He then left me with an estimate for disposal repair and rodding the line in case the problem comes up again. For today’s call there was no charge. I’m delighted with everything about this encounter and highly recommend Aqua Doctor for your plumbing needs.

Do not use this company if you value your home or business. A simple toilet installation was a week long nightmare and ruined our subfloor in bath in 2 rooms water under shower pan now. They didn't know How to install a shutoff as ordered and then let the water leak for 4 days. Try to call and explain they just yell over the top of you and make excuses everything except be real business people and speak reasonably after they trash your house and cost you more $$ They will Not except any responsibility for causing damages $$$ and will tell you they don't care . Hire them if you have 3k for a toilet and you like being treated super unprofessional. Yes after a week of it I'm not happy

Saved us during the really bad storm we had earlier this week. Our sump pump was having issues that you never want to happen during a storm. We called and while he couldn't come out, he got us in touch with his father who runs his own business. He came right out within 20 minutes and assessed the situation and then ran out again to Menards. He came back with what we needed and fixed our issue. Though I guess this review is technically not for Aqua Doctor's, he got the ball rolling and helped us out instead of just saying he wasn't available to help right away. He recognized that we could have potential flooding in our basement and got us help we needed.

I had a clogged floor drain in my house that flooded my entire first floor. It happened very late at night. I called 7 plumbers in my area who claimed to be available 24 hours. I chose Aqua Dr and I’m glad I did. “Uncle Rob” and Gabe arrived at my house. Two great guys. Very polite, very cordial, very respectable. They assessed the situation and went to work rodding the necessary drain. They explained everything they were doing and showed me everything they did. I will not hesitate to call on them again if needed and I highly recommend them. Thanks again “Uncle Rob” and Gabe.

Call someone else. I agreed on a price for a job. Was told I needed a job 5 times the original quote halfway into tearing things up. Once I explained I couldn't afford a new pick up truck, I was told the original job would now cost double to fix. I reluctantly agree and they make me wait a week before returning to finish. They finally finish and have the nerve to leave the area in shambles. You can see all these fake 5 star reviews are here to combat the negative feedback they are actually getting and it's well deserved for their predatory practices. Edited to include pictures.

Our long time pool technician had retired, and I found out NOT EVERYBODY working on swimming pools knows what they are doing! So, I contacted Aquadoctor, who sent out Mr. Williams. His diagnosis was accurate, and he gave us the options for replacing our 30 year old pool filter----the work was done quickly, the charges were reasonable, and I can certainly recommend this company to anyone needing professional services. The two guys sent to our home finished everything in a single afternoon, and the water looks great...I know now who to turn to the next time!
