Found water leak at outside faucet, call and got great response time. Sam came out, explained option to repair, was able to do right away. Explained what he was doing and did great professional job. Will definitely use if need plumber again.
I got an appointment right away. Sam and the other worker gave me various options and did the needed repair quickly. They recalled work they had done at my property some years back and that work was also excellent. Sam was especially helpful and pleasant.
Great service! Sam Larissey solved my problems! Very knowledgeable technician. He explained everything that he did thoroughly. He has great people skills - very friendly! Highly recommend Approved Plumbing Co.
Had a billing discrepancy, called them to discuss. Was told I had to talk to the manager. Left my contact information and never got a call back. Had to suck up the costs. Will use another company next time.
Would not use again. Needed some simple work done and they just pushed to upsell. Had no idea they were charging an additional $100 just to drive out to my home. Unethical.
Updated 3-3-2025- I had Approved Plumbing (Russ and Joe) come out for a RootX treatment, they are very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company for all Plumbing needs. I never hesitate to call them. I recently called Approved Plumbing on 1/16/2024 for frozen pipes, I have to mention that Nick, Joey, Michael and Jeff are very professional and knowledgeable. They defrosted my frozen pipes and discovered the root cause of missing insulation around the pipes. Jeff was able to fit into the small cut-out in a skylight shaft to insert insulation rolls over the exposed pipes! Thank you to everyone for saving my home from a pipe burst! You will always have my business and I truly appreciate how hard everyone worked at my house to remediate this issue. Two days later (1/19), called Approved Plumbing after discovering that the water would not go down my toilet even after plunging, I thought the line was frozen since I had frozen pipes a few days earlier (Approved Plumbing as amazing in the remediation of the frozen pipes ). Mike and Justin came and discovered with a line camera that there was a blockage 33 feet out in the main line. Mike mentioned that Sam was the expert at the machine (rooter?) to cut away any obstructions. Sam, Justin W., and Jeff came back out later that day and worked from 4pm to 9pm to ensure the blockage of tree roots was cleared in the middle of a snowstorm (they also had to work outside at times in the snow at the yard clean-out pipe!) Approved plumbing will always be my first call. Very professional and respectful in cleaning up your home after the job is completed.
Honestly disappointed. Russ F. came out today to look at two different broken spigots, one in our garage and one located on the front of our house. By the way can’t say enough kind things about Russ, he was fantastic, the company and the pricing however, not so much. The price for fixing the front spigot (which we knew was a more complicated fix) seemed fair, minus the $280 they wanted to charge to simply cut our drywall to find the pipe so that they could repair it from our walkout basement walls, truly an outrageous price, but Russ let me know in the future I could cut it myself and save the $280. My issue comes with our garage pipe/spigot. About 2/3 months ago a 1 inch section burst on the middle of this pipe, since the pipe is exposed and Russ agreed that is was “easy fix” we were shocked to learn that the blanket price ok this fix was $465 plus the $99 service fee… all to fix a small exposed section of pipe. I don’t blame him, he doesn’t set the prices, but honestly that price is outrageous. I really wanted to go with a local company whose owner lives right up the street from us and came as a recommendation from all of our neighbors on Vera and Sunnydale drive, but this really feels like price gouging. Now we’re out $99 and honestly disappointed.
Approved Plumbing has truly earned my highest recommendation. While their overall service has been consistently excellent, what truly sets them apart is how they handle the rare occasions when things don't go perfectly. Jeff, the owner, exemplifies what it means to run a business with integrity. When an issue arose, he didn't shy away or make excuses. Instead, he addressed the situation head-on, taking full responsibility and ensuring the work was corrected promptly and to the highest standard. It's refreshing to work with a company that stands behind its work so unequivocally. In a world where customer service often falls short, Approved Plumbing goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. If you're looking for a plumbing company that not only does great work but also has the character to make things right when needed, look no further than Approved Plumbing. They've earned my trust and future business.
I was VERY disappointed to find out that once my service representative Nick came to do the work it could not be completed because I had been communicating with their AI “Rusty” not the actual company representative . I had purchased a $1000 range that needed to be converted to propane. I reached out 3 weeks prior to be sure that they could do it. Based on all my correspondence I was reassured it would be done. I arranged to have them out the day after my range was delivered The conversation never happened and I am still without a range. Nick explained to me that they were testing out the new communication system and felt bad. This situation makes me rethink how AI is going to potentially destroy customer service.😞 I suggest you call the office and speak to a live person. They do seem to be a very professional and knowledgeable company. I would still highly recommend them.
This business is a small, but well organized with very experienced and knowledgable plumbers who take care of your plumbing needs. Work is scheduled on time and it’s done right according to industry standards and local plumbing codes. They are reputable, licensed and show up when scheduled with a truck that clearly displays who they are, where they are physically located and all the information that you would want to know: Name, license, phone number and home office. Thank you Rochelle for expediting this project and thank you Jeff for your technical insights and for kicking off this project to clear a storm drain that won’t drain. My good neighbors and I will appreciate all the hard work that will be necessary to fix this drainage issue that is more than 20 years old.
Left a voice mail for the company, not an emergency, on a Sunday and received a phone call shortly after they opened on Monday. A technician was available that afternoon and would arrive between 1 and 3. Received a call 20 minutes before he was to arrive indicating he was on his way and he showed up as promised. The tech was knowledgeable and personable, provided an assessment of the problem and costs for repair. He did not have the proper equipment to complete the repair and indicated he would be back at 9 the following morning and again received a call indicating he was on his way. The repair was completed and left the area clean. I'm very impressed with the service and would highly recommend this company to anyone.
I requested that Approved Plumbing send someone with experience because my H.W. tank was making very loud noises. I am pleased to say that Russ Fox and Joe were the best team that I could have had, because Russ checked out my dishwasher and bath room shower. He decided to install a "hammer" device on the dishwasher line and replaced the H.W. tank. I had previously used a large well known plumbing company, but their only solution was to install a pressure regulator on my cold water feed line. Russ checked our cold water pressure and said that we did not need a regulator. Approved Plumbing has a new customer. Also, Jenny, the receptionist was very efficient in listening to my needs and sending out someone that I would like.
Russ wss pleasant, knowledgeable and competent. I felt very comfortable with him, confident in his work, and appreciated his attention to detail and commitment to quality. John assisted Russ and also was very courteous, knowledgeable and capable. It's clear that both men have a lot of experience and I trusted their advice. They were also very patient with my questions. Everyone at Approved Plumbing impressed me Jeff was honest about the best course for me to take with a malfunctioning dishwasher and gave me the name of a great appliance repair man. That's why I called Approved back when I knew I needed a plumber for a different job. Sharon was so friendly every time I talked with her, and her follow-up was excellent.
Russ and Vince from the Broadview Hts shop answered my service call earlier than was scheduled (which was great). Very nice, guys. Russ inspected my water tank and heater (had no hot water) and investigated to find that it wasn’t the heater at all, but the gas company had turned of my gas without notification due to a leak and repaired it, again without notification and failed to turn it on without me calling. Russ was willing to stay if needed to check everything but it turned out the gas company took car of testing appliances once the gas was back on. I’ve used Approved Plumbing a number of times over the years and they have always been a great company to work with. Thank you!
Had them out for two jobs and one emergency call at our office building and couldn't be happier. Our building is about 25 years old and presented some unique challenges which Nick, Sam, Jeff, and their assistants handled flawlessly. During our biggest job (which was an after-hours shutdown), Nick and Jeff really went above and beyond to ensure the job got done and got done right. I work with a lot of contractors and it has been quite some time since I've worked with any with the level of workmanship and professionalism that these folks have. I absolutely recommend them for any work anyone could need.
