I had my heat stop working and there was out within a reasonable time. Chris Found the issue fairly quick and had me with some warm air. After overlooking the system it was recommended to replace. So we decided to go with a daikin fit. This is so much quieter and efficient than my last system. Heats very thoroughly. Haven’t had the chance to try the cooling quite yet due to temps. I would highly recommend this company for any plumbing or hvac needs. It is hard to find a trust worthy company these days. Thank you American Plumbing heating and cooling for being my savior.

Chris was able to help use with a water leak in our home. Then was able to quickly come back when we discovered another leak the next day! I highly recommend them.

I called 4 different companies all claim to be 24/7, yet I was directed to a call center and I got zero help. Called at 11 at night, the owner took the time to walk me through a way to get my ac to work enough to keep my kids and wife cool, until his team could come help me. Couldn’t ask for a better company.

House backed up and they couldn’t find my main sewer line.. went through roof to clear plumbing but only did an inch and a half .., it backed back up in two days because they didn’t fix the problem. Charged me 800$ because they had to go on roof! I’m a single mother and was told by the new company they took advantage of me. I called the company to tell them they didn’t fix the problem and was blown off .. told to call the tech that came ! I called the tech that came and he said he would need a camera and it would cost 1500$ additional.. does that make sense? I’m so upset with this company and the new company that came out found my line in 30 minutes!!! Charged me a fraction of that price to redo the work !

employees are not knowledgeable of what services they do. or what units they service. made a appointment then had the lady call me back oh im sorry the tech does not no how to work on mini splits then calls back after we rescheduled a day before are appointment to be told oh im sorry we only service the units we sell. Thanks for wasting three days of my time. Train your employees correctly!!

In this heat wave I called southern efficiency about my a/c unit eclectic to have to wait several days before they could come out. I was happily surprised when they said a technician would be here in a few hours. Sure enough right on time Andrew arrived. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did have to get a part so had to come back the next day to complete the repair but it's working great now. Now I have to make an edit to my initial review. 11 months after the original leak repair (which due to the sealer installed in system I was told would be a permanent repair) the system stopped working again. This time I was told it's leaking again and the system needs to be replaced for over $11,000. What happened to the permanent repair? Anyway, I found the exact unit I need brand new on ebay for less than $4,000 delivered to my door. This is a package unit so it is easy to replace. Just remove old unit, install new one in the same spot, install ducts and hook up a few wires. The unit even comes charged so no need to worry about that. In other words they wanted to charge over $11,000 for less than $4,000 in materials. That means they would have made over $7,000 for less than 2 hours labor. Maybe they'll find another sucker but not me.

When it rains it pours, literally. A simple load of laundry turned into a few hours of living hell for Patrick Stewart. What a great guy. (They need to give this man a raise). He came out to my home after more torrential rain to snake my tub/toilet which had filled up when my washing machine backed up barely stopping at the rim of my toilet - Thank you God. (I was waiting for my home to be flooded.) What should have been an easy job soon had him belly down under my trailer snaking my lines out to the road. Thank goodness the snake reached that far. Did I mention the torrential rain? The poor guy was soaked by the time he finished. But what was amazing was that he never lost his cool, his sense of humor, his professionalism. Job well done. I will definitely reach out to APH&C again should the need arise. I hope all their associates are as nice as Patrick. Thank you and YEAH, the rinse water went down. No backing up this time. 5 stars

We have used this company for several years, and they continue to impress with their professional service and prompt attention to our needs! We just recently used them again. Andrew was our technician and was very courteous and polite, as well as professional in his demeanor and work performance. The office staff also was very diligent in getting the services performed that we needed in a timely manner. We will continue to use them for all of our HVAC and ductwork projects. Update: We just had American Plumbing, Heating and Cooling do the service again on our HVAC units and once again I was very impressed! Andrew is very thorough! He does such a good job and didn't mind explaining what he was doing and checking. He also sends a detailed report with pictures and specifics about what was done. Excellent and quick emergency service! Turns out our HVAC system has been leaking since it was installed 3 years ago and the AC finally stopped working. For our home, with a severe Parkinson’s patient, a toddler, a pregnant lady, and another elderly person in the home, this was especially dangerous. Eric was sent out and he diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, offered further remediation instructions very clearly, and had the whole thing cleaned, fixed, and up and running in just over half an hour. We signed up for their membership to stay on top of maintenance and to make sure we continue to receive their excellent and well priced service. Thank you so much!! Joey came out on Sunday afternoon this past Sunday, our A/C unit outside not kicking on, inside temps 89 degrees and climbing, It took Joey about 10 minutes to understand the issue, he went and got a capacitor, installed it, verified it was indeed working in the home and was on his way, very slow professional and courteous, price was an issue but the service was worth the price. Andrew just came out for a 21 point inspection, he was awesome, he found conditions of why the house was so humid, he offered solutions and I found his answers to be inspiring, he did inform me of things I did not want to hear about our Heating and Air… but at least he was honest and compassionate

5 Stars is most accurate. All of the reviews are spot on. It is hard to add any additional compliments to the great all around service you receive from Southern Efficiency. I have known Vince and his parents for quite some time, and they are such honest and respectful people. Vince and his crew, plain and simple, know what they are doing. They not only know what they are doing, they have a deep respect and consideration for the customer and it shows in their respectful conduct, punctuality, cleanliness, and of course the professional job. In addition, their pricing is very fair. 2 thumbs up in all areas.

I saw that they had 5 stars on here and had my doubts, but still decided to give them a shot. I called and a lady picked up the phone and showed her concern about our ac out due to it being 90 degrees outside. She sent us a technician immediately, and he explained what the cause of problem was and showed me so I could grasp a better understanding of it; he temporarily fixed our ac before getting us a whole new unit. The salesman explained what we needed and nothing extra, and I really appreciated that. I feel I can trust this company and I highly recommend it.

Called on July 3, just hoping to get an appointment for the fifth. Was informed I could go first available on July 4 from 8 to 10 AM My technician was a guy name Joey Maglio, who informed me he was coming in advance, who showed up on time and was nothing short of outstanding. Very cordial and even when part wasn’t available, found way to make it right. Would absolutely call American again and will call American when it’s time for unit to be replaced. Thanks for showing up on the fourth and for making me “cool” again

I was very pleased With the service I received. Andrew install a split unit air conditioner for me couple years ago and he remembered all about it. He made my home heating and cooling system run more efficiently. Give me advice on what filter I should be using. Then he tidied up all the mess the Builder installer left in there. Then he sent me a detailed report of what he found what he recommended an estimate on any repairs it might need .I gave Andrew an excellent times 10. Glad to do business with them.
