Just want to share a professional comfortable experience. Evis responded the same day to quote and then install a new hot water heater. He took the time to understand that cost and quality were important. After getting the equipment delivered the installation was completed very neatly even though it was in the garage.

We continue to be very satisfied with the promptness, professionalism and courtesy provided by Alvarez Plumbing staff. All our projects have been completed correctly and on time. Recently, we required the replacement of our hot water tank. Joe (Field Supervisor/Estimator) was very knowledgeable and helpful in the choosing of our tankless hot water system. We are very glad we followed his recommendation for the Navien system, properly sized for our household demands. Corey (installer) was meticulous with the installation and extremely neat and courteous. Most recently, we had to unexpectedly have a leaking toilet repaired. Alvarez was responsive and scheduled a service call quickly to resolve the issue. Perry (plumber) was also extremely knowledgeable about the hydrolics, valves, water pressure and overall Plumbing of the project. He was neat, courteous and respectful of our home and time. We are confident that Alvarez will be available for routine and emergency situations in the future. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Ramiro made me feel very comfortable during our meeting! He was exceptionally professional and a 10 in knowledge of finding the my issue! He is a Credit to your company by far! Next time I need a A/C or plumber I want him to come by, if he isn't available I'm willing to wait for fis schedule is open.

Charged $500 for a job that should have been less than half that taking advantage of an elderly woman.

Called Alvarez Plumbing & A/C on Tue-3/10/2026 to schedule a springtime A/C system-check/tune-up; got an appointment for 8-10AM the very next day. Asked about pricing and decided to sign-up for a maintenance plan good for 3 system checks (this initial one, plus 2 more) for $348 ($116 per appt). Received a call at approx 7:50AM on 3/11 from tech Ramiro Gallardo informing he expected to arrive in approx 1 hour; he arrived at 9:00AM. I showed him where my units were located, informed that the system is running fine but that I wanted a full system-check/tune-up. Ramiro went right to work and knocked on my door about an hour later to review his findings: He found my blower motor to be frozen in the ON position and therefore was not turning off as it should when running in the AUTO setting (as was set on my thermostat). (I had not noticed this, but found turning the fan to OFF on the thermostat indeed had no effect, and after setting back to AUTO it did indeed never turned off the rest of that day and throughout the night.) Ramiro informed I would need to replace the blower motor, and although the current motor was still under warranty, the cost to replace would be $535 for installation and new warranty paperwork. (This is over & above the $116 for the system-check appointment itself.) I agreed to the work, and scheduled another appt for first thing the next morning (Thu-3/12/2026) for the motor replacement. Received a call at approx 9:15AM on Thu-3/12/2026 from the tech who was to perform the work (Jacob Fox) informing he would be there in 15-20 minutes. He arrived at my house punctually at 9:30AM and immediately went to work. He finished approx 1-hour later (10:25AM), and reviewed the work he performed including pictures he had taken on his phone while performing the replacement. The fan is now turning on/off as it should. Unfortunately I have no idea how much money I wasted in power costs while the old blower motor was running non-stop; but it is fixed now and that's all I can do. I am very pleased with my experience with Alvarez so far. Both techs were very professional, very polite, and did not try to up-sell me any other services like my old A/C company used to do on every single visit. (My previous A/C company was AND Services. Stay far, far away from that company. I think they put all of their techs through a timeshare sale program tweaked for selling needless A/C services. They are the worst, high-pressure sales A/C company I have ever encountered in the 43 years I have lived in Florida.) I'm so glad to have found a new A/C company that appears to be honest and reliable. Five stars to Alvarez Pluming & A/C for professionalism, quality of work, punctuality and transparency.

Update: May 2026: Noticed the thermostat for my Air Conditioner unit was not displaying a number (aka...something is wrong), and called Alvarez as they are my go-to Air service. A couple of hours later, everything was finished efficiently and well done. Sean, the technician, was friendly, extremely knowledgeable about the mechanics of systems, and had my problem resolved quickly. Alvarez knows their stuff, and will remain my Air Conditioner service. Oct 2025...needed routine check on my AC unit (on a Sunday no less) , called Alvarez and they sent Alex out quickly. He did a thorough job quickly and efficiently....very friendly as well as a bonus. Update: June 10, 2025: Needed plumbing help, and called Alvarez as I had been pleased with their AC service. Luis M and Jayden arrived and were super thorough, friendly and efficient. They located the problem, and fixed it. I trust this company. Thank you Luis M and Jayden. Update: I had another issue with my Air Conditioning, and called Alvarez as they had been very good when I called them 5 months ago. They are still very good. Drew arrived on time (that's been rare with other companies), and was efficient, friendly, fixed the problem, and validated my good feel about this company. Like the previous review below, Alvarez will remain my go-to for air conditioning needs. Very pleased with choosing Alvarez to fix my AC problem. My technician Ramiro was great: arrived at a good time frame within my window of expected arrival time, was very knowledgeable, friendly and extremely thorough. He did not leave until checking the system a few times to make sure everything was working correctly. After some sketchy work from other companies, Alvarez came through. They will be my go-to for future needs

I wanted to take a moment to share my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service I received from Alvarez Plumbing and Air Conditioning this past weekend. As a commercial laundry owner, having a functioning air conditioning system is absolutely essential for our operations, especially during our busy weekends. Late last night, I discovered that our air conditioning had stopped working, and the timing couldn’t have been worse. I reached out to Alvarez Plumbing and Air Conditioning at 10pm, and their afterhours team responded swiftly, coordinating a technician visit within the hour. Jacob Fox, the technician, contacted me right away and met me at the laundry. Upon arrival, he determined that the issue was on the roof and came fully prepared with a 40’ ladder to access and diagnose the problem. Jacob quickly identified the faulty unit and, impressively, had the necessary part on hand to repair it. Thanks to his expertise and preparedness, our system was back up and running in no time. His helpfulness and professionalism made what could have been a major disruption into a smooth and efficient resolution. This level of service—especially between 10pm and midnight on a Saturday—is truly extraordinary. I am grateful for the quick response, technical know-how, and dedication shown by Jacob and the Alvarez team. Thank you for going above and beyond to keep our business running.

Service was great and affordable. Replaced the kitchen sink which required cutting the granite countertop in place. Turned out amazing! Also replaced the shutoffs for the washer. Would definitely recommend them. Update: Just used HVAC service and the service was again top notch. Brian the HVAC tech got the problem fixed in no time and was able to discuss various options for replacing the system, which definitely needs to be done. As I wrote before definitely recommend this company. Update 3: Wound up replacing the HVAC system. The job had some bumps, took a few tries to past inspection and it turned out the system was misconfigured during the install, heat wouldn't come on but Alvarez made good on all the issues and the system finally seems to be working properly. Still a satisfied customer and would recommend.

This is our second time using Alvarez Plumbing & AC. Each time it has been for a plumbing issue that suddenly showed up. The company does their best to get to you as quickly as possible. And they communicate clearly and promptly with any and all updates. The techs that came to repair the issue (Alex S. & Ernesto) were both polite, professional and actually pleasant and easy to talk with! They were happy to show me and explain to me what was going on and what it would take to repair the plumbing issue. Also I appreciated that they were not pushy about items that were worth considering to be done as a recommendation. They respectfully informed me and gave me the opportunity to know why and what it would cost. Happy with this company and have recommended them often around our neighborhood.

I can’t say enough good things about Alvarez plumbing company! The Technician, Kaleb, came out on extremely short notice when I had an unexpected issue, and his response time was impressive. Kaleb arrived promptly, was professional, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly before starting the work. He fixed the problem quickly and made sure everything was working perfectly before leaving. It’s hard to find reliable service these days, but this company truly delivered — fast, friendly, and dependable. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future plumbing needs beyond my capabilities and recommending them to friends and family! This was the 2nd time I requested service from Alvarez plumbing. The 2nd time because I was impressed by the responsiveness and timeliness of the 1st. Victor and Ricardo were exceptionally courteous, neat and professional. Plumbing work, by nature, can be dirty and messy, but Victor and both of his partners did an amazing job of restoring the areas to like new. I will be calling Alvarez Plumbing for any future olumbing needs. Semi-annual AC inspection. Remembering Jacob Fox from last inspection, I requested him again. Like the previous service call, Jacob (and a ride-along Axiel) did an extremely thorough and comprehensive inspection of the entire AC system. I'm looking forward to the next inspection if Jacob will be available.

I was referred to Alvarez Plumbing by a neighbor and I’m so happy I called them. My water heater broke down and Korey showed up to my house within 20mins! He is a very friendly and professional young man full of knowledge and happy to help and answer all my questions. I decided to have my water heater replaced and literally in less than 2 hrs my old one was taken away and a brand new one was up and running! All so fast and convenient 😊. 4.17202: This is the second time we've used Alvarez Plumbing. Korey and Jake were very professional and friendly. They gave a courtesy call prior to arrival and arrived within the scheduled timeframe. Our plumbing issues were assessed, multiple quotes were giving in a timely manner which allowed for the work to be done immediately. Korey and Jake came equiped with the tools and parts needed to get the job done quickly. I would recommend them and Alvarez to friends /neighbors and plan to use them in the future.

My AC died on a Wednesday. Tony came out the next morning and helped us figure out exactly what we would need to make our home comfortable, especially with second floor bedrooms that get very warm. He was very friendly and also fun to chat with! The following day James W. and Jake W. did a fantastic job installing the new AC/heating system for us. They were prompt, very friendly, and cleaned up beautifully. They also were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Thank you!!!

My sales person Brian was very helpful in helping me make the right decision in getting a new air conditioning unit instead of continuing to spend money on a unit that was already 10 years old. The following day James W and Jake W did the installation. I could tell they were very knowledgeable and worked well together. They arrived on time, protected my floor and cleaned up afterwards.
