James came to the house after normal work hours and found the leak in our dishwasher that was causing the tile to delaminate in our kitchen. On time, professional, thorough, and affordable! Highly recommend!!

This company is very professional, affordable, dependable and super friendly! Shane, Brandon and Micheal were awesome to work with! The owners Shane and Brandon go above and beyond to make sure the work is done correctly and timely. They were very knowledgeable and wanted to make sure that the problems that existed were fixed and what wasn’t done properly (by someone else) was also fixed the right way. I be can not thank them enough for the professional and amazing work they did to our home. We will be forever costumers!!!

I had a scheduled appointment this morning. When they never showed, I called and was informed “the boss pulled me off your job and scheduled me to go to another job” yet I received no phone call informing me they weren’t coming. Wasted two hours of my time because my need wasn’t as important as someone else’s need. This is no way to run a business.

I scheduled an appt. with this company and was assured they'd come on Tuesday 4/19/22 between the hours of 1-3 pm. They didn't come to fix the leaking faucet nor did they call to let us know that they weren't coming. I noticed there are several other comments addressing this very issue. This company stated that I received several phone calls and a message was left but this is a lie. It never happened.

I didn't think to lea be a review the first time I called them. Before. After being in Aiken for 19 years, it was next to impossible to find someone to do work on anything or requiring $100 or more just got an estimate. I got really taken by the blue truck, BF. But, this is for Affordable. First time I called them, they were the only ones who did not charge for an estimate. They came at the time agreed, arriving in two clean and professional trucks. Two young men, brothers did the work and, to me, the first charge was very fair. Then I scheduled them to come back another day to deal a toilet that was leaking from underneath. They spent more time on the first job, but to put a new seal and reset the toilet was right at 375. That may be what that job costs, but I thought it was a bit much. BUT with the difficulty finding anyone and with another blue truck ripping me off twice, I decided I would use Affordable, because of the ckeankiness, the politeness and professor Shane and his brother. But, I should have read the reviews. There is one, and she is dead in about NO SHOW. I called yesterday mid morning because water is leaking into my garage from the side at the slab. It is supposed to rain again today and tomorrow. At first no one answered the phone. When I did get an answer after calling several numbers for them, I heard only a mumble and could not understand, so I as I "excuse me" and they hung up. So ,needing my garage not to be flooded again I called right back. After I asked, he said he was Shane. I told him my situation, asked if they made those kind of repairs, and all he said was we'll be there between 3 and 6. THEY DID NOT SHOW OR CALL. He knew my name, my address and my phone number as I have it again when I called. So, okay, they didn't show. They had been so nice before, I have him the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe he meant Saturday, as that wasn't really a lot of notice. WRONG !! What is wrong with people in Aiken??? I don't mean all, but my experience for 19 years has been " we want money, say we want jobs, but do I really have to work for it, or if I do, I'm just not going to finish the job. And, except for one, all have disappointed me in price gouging, not finishing, damaging things, painting the ceiling with the wall paint, using a pair of $375 each lamp for their light after I said not to, having the wife insult me saying a $20 lamp would have done just as well, just bad work out of some. Niw, today, since Affordable Plumbing (which is yet to be determined by me) did not come, not knowing what else to do, I just finished using a shower curtain liner to fasten outside the garage, but unfortunately only 72 inches, to determine ( hopefully) after the rain, if the water comes in around that area. IF the brother, Shane, had told me they could not come yesterday, I could have tried someone else and not been charged for a weekend emergency call. I think the father owns Affordable, and has no idea his son's are going to put him out of business. So sad, and I actually liked them and believed they were reliable. They apparently aren't mature enough to respect their father's business, since they don't even have the courtesy to call and say they can't come or tell the customer to begin with. I hope the owner, the BOYS' father reads this.

I called Affordable Plumbing to see if they could come to my home and check to see if it was possible to increase my water pressure. My appointment was scheduled for the next business day from 3-4 p.m. I left work early in order to be home before 3 pm. At 3:55, no one had shown up, so I called to make sure they still were coming. I was told that they were running behind and would call me when they were on their way, which they did. The plumber arrived at 5:57 pm. I wish I had been notified or was told I could receive a courtesy call to let me know when they were on the way, so I would not have taken off work early. The plumber was extremely polite, but stayed on his mobile phone the entire time chatting and laughing with someone while he worked. I am thankful for the job that was done and am very happy with the better water pressure. The plumber did not take the time to explain what he had to do in order to increase the pressure. When he finished, he told me that he had to install a new pressure regulator. I wish he had explained that to me beforehand to give me the chance to opt out or not of the cost that it incurred. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the outcome. It is wonderful to have higher water pressure in every faucet/shower throughout the house. I gave a rating of 4 only because I was not informed of the procedure it took to increase my water pressure before he did the actual work and because the plumber was somewhat unprofessional, as he was on his mobile device chatting and laughing with someone the entire time. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Affordable Plumber.

I called and asked this company what they charge to locate a leak in a shower at my 88 year old mothers house. "George" responded $75.00. I told my mother this and she called them to approve. A few days later, I swung by my mom's house to check up on her and she said that the plumbers would be arriving tomorrow to start the job and she showed me the work order. $7,000 to fix the plumbing and install a new fiberglass shower!!! The plumber said that the leak was under the ceramic tiled shower floor (upstairs) and he cut out a large "L" shape in the dining room ceiling Sheetrock so he could have access to diagnose where the leak was. After seeing his $7,000 quote (which started out as a $75 charge to find the "alleged" leak),..I called George and immediately cancelled their appointment for the next morning. After I cancelled their appointment , someone from AFFORDABLE PLUMBING showed up at my mom's to collect the $75 that they told me and my mother what it would cost to locate the leak. They must have sprinkled some water on that $75 bill because it grew into a flowering $250.00. I called another plumber and it is concluded that there is no leak in the drain pipe under the shower tiled floor. It is also agreed that a new fiberglass shower stall is not needed and definitely was never needed to begin with (for $7,000)!!! So busting up that single person 3' X 3' mosaic tiled shower floor and walls to replace it with a new fiberglass shower stall was absolutely unnecessary. I have more to add to this but will finalize it at a later time. The truth is easy to reiterate and requires no rehearsal.

What an awesome group of young men! Brandon and Shawn are very professional and knowledgeable, their work is spot on and they take pride in cleaning behind themselves, and show you everything that they are doing so there are no surprises! I have been using them since 2015 and for the work they completed today, I’m positive I will never have to call them to unclog anything! They have hired another intelligent, professional who’s name is Michael who also is knowledgeable and takes pride in making sure the customer is please, between the 3 of them, North Augusta and Augusta should know they are definitely dependable and very professional to be so young, I was truly blessed last Friday and again today by their presence and service! Brought these gentlemen out for a second opinion on some rattling pipes and high water pressure coming into the house (the first company wanted about $1500 to tear into the walls to "investigate") They ended up redoing my pipes in the yard since the old pipes were being invaded by magnolia tree roots. They also replaced my pressure regulator for the high water pressure and the irrigation valves that were leaking. Once done, everything works perfectly and quietly! The family operated Affordable Plumbing company was prompt, respectful, and fair in their price. Not to mention, they stayed late into the evening to make sure what they started working on was done and done correctly. They also came back the next day to clean up in the daylight so they didn't miss any details. Go with the local brothers at Affordable Plumbing! I will only call them from now on.

I found out my hot water heater was leaking so I called Affordable Plumbing. Michael came out the very next morning to assess the situation and I ended up needing a new water heater completely. It's an expense I did not want, but the price was fair and I trust this company's work and price over other local plumbers I have used. Michael quickly and accurately wrote up a quote giving me options; replacing the unit or going with a tankless one. I made a decision, he picked up the unit and came back the same day to install. He was also working around another crew who were doing repairs under my house, I appreciated that flexibility. Michaels knowledge, professionalism and responsiveness is top notch! I've had these guys come out at least 2 other times and never had a problem with their advice or repairs. Thank you all!

I called Affordable plumbing to repair a huge leak in my main water line. They didn't have any appointments available the same day but they managed to fit me in anyway. I think Ashlyn could hear the stress in my voice, lol. Michael was great in letting me know when he would be there, worked hard and way past the time he probably wanted to, but found the leak (2 cracks) and had it fixed the same day. I was so stressed before he got there, fearing the cracks might be under my slab, but Michael went straight to work and knew what he was doing. I had complete confidence that he would fix it. I was able to sleep like a baby knowing water wasn't constantly running under my house. Thank you Michael and Ashlyn for your help!

I had a terribly disappointing experience with Affordable Plumbing. I had a couple of basic problems that needed repair. I called to make an appointment, but they never showed up. When I called, they apologized and said they would send someone the next day. They didnt. A plumber finally came out the followinh day and repaired the things that I needed done. However, one of the jobs was done very poorly. Not only did it look bad, but there were leaks in behind the wall. When I called to have the issue addressed, Affordable ghosted me. Ive called another company to come repair the problem because Im not confident that Affordable can or will do the job. Very disappointed. I will not be a repeat customer.

From this day forward I vow not to let my truck get below 1/4 of a tank. Playing that game that we all like to play,(5 miles to empty) I ran out of gas turning on to 25 off of 520. Gas station was less the a block away. Smh!!! Fortunately two nice gentleman helped me move my truck. One worked for Affordable Plumbing LLC and the other was in a RCBOE van. The gentleman for Affordable Plumbing LLC drove me to the gas station, back to my truck then followed me to the station. There are definitely some good folks out there. If you need anything plumbing work…call these folks. If they have employees that will stop to help a stranger in their time of need, they are alright in my book.

Look at this beauty. It is a Navien—a Korean-made product that has excellent reviews. Brandon recommended it and it does offer curb appeal in my opinion. He and his team of two other professionals removed my electric, attic-placed, electric, tanked unit brought it to my garage for me to give to a friend—however, they will also haul it off if i needed that service. Service: they all were professional and eager to please the customer and I like that! When you offer a service, shine at your service. They did shine. I already told them they are my plumbers! A reward for their good service. They even painted my propane pipe! It was a lovely rust color…now a nice shiny gray! :)
