What 745 Reviews Tell Us

Emergency Response

Slow follow-up on caused damage; after initial failures, customers faced multi-day delays waiting for repair appointments while water damage worsened.

What To Watch Out For

Poor diagnostic accuracy on first visit; two separate reviews describe wrong initial diagnosis that required return visits and caused additional property damage (drywall openings, ceiling water damage, floor water damage).

Lack of responsiveness to customer distress during emergencies; one technician stood silent while water leaked into ceiling, and dispatch was dismissive rather than sympathetic.

Slow follow-up on caused damage; after initial failures, customers faced multi-day delays waiting for repair appointments while water damage worsened.

Additional charges for access fees ($450+) despite company error being root cause of extra drywall openings.

Incomplete job cleanup and unsafe property conditions; one review reports dirty boots on carpet with no drop cloth; another describes ground left as a liability hazard requiring customer to hire separate landscaper.

Amazing company with clear pricing, honest and clear communication from the office and techs! Mark was a godsend. Update: After getting quotes for a replacement sewer main, the ADvanced Drain team was who in could trust. They did great! Highly recommend?

I had a major problem with my sewer system. It was completely clogged. This was a nightmare. It took weeks to find someone to come and take the job. Major construction was needed. Advanced Plumbing came out several times to remove the clog. Unfortunately, I had to remove a tree to fix the problem for good. The process took a while, and they worked with my insurance company to get it done. What I like most about the process is that the staff was willing to work with me to resolve the issues. Satisfied with the work done, I would use them again. Friendly hard-working company. All the best.

Beware if these are the folks that come out if the home warranty company placed the call. We moved in in February, and the tub was always quick to clog. In September we get a clog we can't resolve, no amount of weaseling or snaking was helping. We looked into it and it was probably due to the outdated drum trap. We asked the warranty folks that the trap be replaced, since the trap was over the living room ceiling and we didn't feel comfortable swapping it ourselves as our first forray into DIY plumbing. The warranty folks sent these guys, who (instead of listening to partner who is explaining the issue and what we need done) proceeds to air blast down the tub as the very first step. He then tries to snake the drain and water immediately sprays out the pipe somewhere, and then also begins going into the ceiling of the living room. Things go south from there and Guy stands in the growing puddle of water in the living room and doesn't say anything about the water coming through the ceiling. Partner then goes downstairs from shoving towels under the now leaking pipes, to see the mess there. Guy then hides in his van while on a 3 way call with their dispatch who doesn't seem at all sympathetic to why we are upset? She was thoroughly condescending, saying at least the tub isn't clogged anymore. Congrats. You guys fixed it. Now the water is draining into the ceiling instead of not draining at all. Excellent work! To be explicitly clear, there were no leak issues prior to this point. We literally called the professionals so this exact thing wouldn't happen. And no, we do not want your crack team to come out in 3 days to do what I am assuming will be an equally careless job tearing out ceiling and replacing the trap and whatever else was broken in the process of attempting this "fix". Plus the guy left a great mess in the bathroom. No drop cloth on the carpet either, just dirty boots. Called a different company who actually did what we asked and swapped the trap the next day and we haven't had an issue since.

The experience with Advanced Drains and Plumbing Repairs was disappointing! The first technician wrongly diagnosed the problem as leak in the draining pipe in the kitchen sink, asked us to wait over the weekend till he gets the parts while the leak in the basement continued. Monday when drywall was opened to change the pipe, it was realized it was not leaking. So a second diagnosis was that toilet on second floor was leaking and they reinstalled it, however in the morning it we noted another puddle of water in basement. We were told that they will come that day but later asked to wait till next day (see what happens overnight). Ofcourse this did not change the outcome and now a new area of the ceiling in finished basement showed water damage. We were told they will come that afternoon but later they said they have a big job happening and everyone is busy, so another day passed with more water damage. When finally an experienced plumber showed up, they found a leaking water pipe in the kitchen, however this took several drywall openings being made in the first floor dining room and kitchen and first floor linen closet. If this leak would have been diagnosed on day one it would have avoided all the damage to drywalls, and inconvenience. Rather than being accommodating and recognizing their failure in locating the leak company has charged an extra $450 as access fee! Thoroughly disappointed!!

If I could give zero stars I would. We had a waterline leak (street to house), went through our Home Serve warranty. Advanced came out, started digging, couldn’t shut off the water. Started digging in a second area to turn off water from street. Meanwhile, 1st hole filling with water. Needed to dig trench to reroute water out of hole. After finally fixing leak, they dumped the same dirt back in the holes, didn’t level, seeded and straw. The ground was left a hazard. I had to pay a landscaper to come out and fix due to liability reasons. Melissa “office manager” was rude & unprofessional when addressing our concerns. I will be notifying the warranty company of their inferior service. I anticipate litigation. RUN, DON’T WALK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
