When in need of plumbing experts, look no further than Action Plumbing Services. Action Plumbers are very responsive, genuine and honest. Plumbing trouble is almost always an emergency and requires quick, experienced and reliable care. You can depend on Action Plumbing to resolve matters efficiently and kindly. As always, Action is available to do scheduled maintenance to keep your system running properly. We will continue to give them our business going forward.
I highly recommend Action Plumbing. Jim and his son provided same-day service to replace our old water heater. They identified several issues with the previous installation and corrected everything to ensure it met code requirements. We truly appreciate their professionalism and quality workmanship.
Jeff replaced leaking valve stops for us. We’ve had so many issues with the cheap builder grade stops we had him replace all the stops in the master bath, two vanities and the toilet. Installation is always clean and professional. The brass quarter turn stops will out last me! Very happy with service and plan to schedule replacement of our other two baths when weather improves. The plastic builder grade ones spray water if you touch them and I have never been able to turn off the water successfully. Highly recommend Jeff and Action Plumbing!
We had a very disappointing experience with this company. Prior to the appointment, we asked for an estimate of services, which was never provided before the plumber arrived. Once inside our home, there were additional concerns. We have an immunocompromised child living here, and given that it’s the height of flu season, we asked the plumber to wear a mask. He refused, which felt dismissive and unsafe given our circumstances. Additionally, he smelled strongly of cigarettes, which was unpleasant and unprofessional. He then attempted to charge $285 just to snake our bathtub drain, and when questioned, commented that the price “was not expensive,” which came across as condescending and inappropriate. For context, the average cost for a professional plumber to snake a standard household drain like a tub is typically around $100–$275, with many jobs falling closer to the lower end of that range depending on location and severity of the clog. Overall, the experience lacked professionalism, transparency, and consideration for our household. We would not recommend this company based on our experience.
I’m sorry to say that after being highly recommended, our experience wasn’t favorable. Called, scheduled a service a week later at 9am with Matthew. On the appointed day, called at 10am asking if I was on the schedule as no one had yet arrived or called. Received a call back from Jim, asking what I needed. When I explained the circumstances, rudely said Matthew has been out sick since the previous Friday, asked again what services I wanted. Asked if I’d be home, I said that was the plan..he’d try to get out there and would call when he was on his way. I agreed, but after hanging up thought better of it. Didn’t need attitude on the phone and certainly not in my home. Called back to cancel, the gal was apologetic, saying she would relay the message. Jim called back, asking if I now didn’t need the services. I said no, he was rude on the phone call and I didn’t need that in my home. He chuckled and said “these knuckleheads are dumping a lot of work on me” I replied I was sorry, not my problem, take it up with your boss, and ended the conversation. My Mom has used their services and was very satisfied, hence the referral. I’m guessing this isn’t the kind of customer service Action Plumbing, in its fifth generation, wants to hear about.
Action Plumbing is our hero! We can’t say enough wonderful things about Jim and his team. We called Jim a few months back to assist with a problem we were having in our half bath. Because of our positive experience this past fall, we reached out when an issue arose again. We highly valued his honesty, thoroughness, and expertise and knew he could help us solve the problem and get the job done, right! When we contacted Jim, we had identified an odd smell in our home that was coming from somewhere in our laundry room. It would come and go and was really hard to pinpoint. Jim took the time to discuss the problem, listen to past history and our concerns and walk around our entire home to better address the issue. Because of Jim’s thoroughness, we were able to identify and fix the issue. We can’t even begin to thank Jim enough for taking the time to make us feel comfortable and confident that the problem is now solved. It is so nice to have the assurance and peace of mind that Jim has provided to us. We would recommend Jim to anyone and everyone. He is the best plumber we have ever worked with. Thank you Jim and Action Plumbing! Megan and Dan, Parma Heights, Ohio, January 2016
We bought this place last year and we are catching up on overdue maintenance. We called Action Plumbing the first time back in February 2020 when we had water leaking through the ceiling from the upper level. They sent Steve out and he was very helpful. He showed us that the problem was water coming through bad grout in the shower, not a leaky drain like we thought. While looking to see where the water was coming down, he also noticed a water stain inside a closet, which turned out to be another leaking pipe. He fixed the leak that day, but we decided to put off repairing the shower wall until we do a full bathroom remodel. While on-site, we also asked Steve to look at some other plumbing issues and give us estimates for repairs. Steve reminded us to contact our home warranty provider, which we’d completely forgotten about. That helped us take care of some projects sooner than we might have -- and we called Steve at Action Plumbing for those, too. I would not hesitate to recommend this guy.

Called to install gas line from basement to kitchen, Steve and Rocco did fantastic work! We knew they would. Over the years Jim has come out to replace pipes and do other jobs and It’s always been a pleasant experience with great results. It’s wonderful that Jim’s standard for excellence shows in the people he hires to represent his family business. We live in 95 year old home with lathe and paster ceilings in multiple rooms in basement so it was no easy job, but Steve skillfully figured out the best way to run the line through 3 rooms up to the kitchen and he kept me informed throughout the process. Cutting through the ceiling created a lot of dust during the installation but you’d never know it when they were done. They cleaned it all up! I highly recommend this company. Im looking forward to having Steve and Rocco for our next project -basement shower.
I cannot say enough positive compliments about Steve and Rocco......Steve came out on a Saturday(no xtra charge), an emergency situation...all drains and toilets were gurgling and about to back up..... He assessed what was going on, and the fix was lengthy and messy, but he and Rocco did it in the cold rain...mud everywhere....they persevered inside and out, and at the end of the day, everything was not only working, but with minimal mess considering, and with great respect for my home......they were drenched and cold and had mud all over thenselves, Steve went out to his truck, cleaned himself off, and came inside with a clean dry shirt and a clean smiling face.....unbelievable service. I just moved here, and took a stab at Action Plumbers.....what a godsent...i still cant believe my good fortune to have found them!
We have had Steve and Rocko from Action Plumbing come to our house 3 different times for various plumbing repairs for our home that we bought last year. This included a new water heater, replacing the garbage disposal, replacing the sink drains, rebuilding or installing new toilets, and installing a new laundry tub. They were so helpful every time and very thorough with the work! Steve is very knowledgeable and always explained what work was being done, why it was needed, and took before pictures to show what things looked like. They were both very thorough, did great job with all these updates, and we really appreciate all the work they did to make sure it was done right! We would highly recommend them for any plumbing services and plan to continue using them for some upcoming bathroom remodels!
I absolutely love this company and would not hesitate to recommend them! Jim was the first to come and check the issues with my heating system, he was personable, professional, knowledgeable and very efficient! He not only explained exactly what the issues were but provided photos. Upon his recommendation, installers Jesse and Darcy arrived the same day to begin installation and were extremely thorough and personable. Kenny showed up to check my electrical system and again was knowledgeable, professional and was able to explain and give options for issues within this system. Both owners; Ben and Alex were in touch and available if needed and also were a balanced blend of professional and personable! Action heating & Plumbing...my go to! Kaysville, Utah
We called them to change the main shut off valve initially. Steve noticed our water heater was likely going to die in 2 months. Which we knew it was leaking and apparently a neighbor had hers die within the last couple months. He could have not told us and come in later for a more expensive repair . So we decided to go ahead with that repair as well. He was available pretty quickly to do it, he always wore a mask. We really appreciated that. He moved all the pipes we wanted to increase space and he installed the filter we wanted . We noticed a gas smell and he came back that day to make sure everything was sealed. The plumber knew his stuff and he did hours of work hooking everything up. I highly recommend this business.
Rocco ended up sick and couldn't make it but he got Steve to fit me into his busy schedule. Steve was the best! Tenant upstairs had a toilet leaking and destroyed my bathroom ceiling. Steve shut off his toilet and told him not to use it till it gets fixed and double checked the pipes above my ceiling to make sure nothing else was leaking and then he put a makeshit cover over what he had to tear out ceiling wise till i can get it repaired and even cleaned up the mess as best he could. Both these guys get 5 stars in my book! Rocco for making sure someone could still come out and Steve for probably putting in a super long day just to fit me in and both for being super nice!!! Thank you both so much!!!!
On a Tuesday late afternoon, our hot water tank and drain pan had leaked into the bathroom below. We didn’t notice the leak until the ceiling was like raining water. The bathroom is in a back room behind then salon. We called Action Plumbing and they were able to come out by next morning at 8:00 am. They had the hot water on by 1:00 pm, and we were back to business as usual. Action Plumbing was also concerned about safety ,which I am extemely thankful. They secured the tank, so if the first safety measure breaks there is a backup. This is important due to the of location and weight of tank a above a bathroom. Action Plumbing is prompt, knowledgeable, reasonably priced and kind. Highly recommend!!!
