Colin came out for our service call and did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. He explained everything clearly and made the whole process easy. Really happy with the service from Ace Hardware Home Services.

I had two service calls (Chase & Matt) because our system was setting off a high pressure switch alarm. They both were through & polite, but didn’t find anything significantly wrong with the system. Maintenance was done by Chase. Matt came the 2nd time a week later because the alarm sounded again (no charge) and went over everything -one part was something that he said we could replace-I can’t remember what part…however, since Matt left we have had no alarms going off and it’s been weeks! We had another company last year and we find Ace definitely more reasonable and more responsive to our calls -office staff is also super nice.

Chase Jacoby arrived promptly and showed tremendous respect for my home. He briefed me on what to expect during the annual service call and then got to work. His work was thorough and included an exhaust cleaning I’ve never seen any other service technician perform. Chase was both technically competent and professional in his work. I would recommend him to family and friends.

We had a werley tech out to look at our air conditioning unit. We were ok with replacement, if necessary. When the tech suggested that it would be $15,000 for a 1700ft² house, he pushed us towards a $1000 fan replacement that was not just a bandaid but also broke again 3 weeks later. Now we are out the money for the fan and are still replacing our unit with another company.

I called Werley to schedule a visit 2 weeks in advance. The day of the appt I skipped breakfast out with friends and then nobody from Werley showed up. I called and found out the repairman had called in sick and they had forgotten to call to tell me. They then arranged for someone else to show up hours later. I explained in detail what the issue was and was told the diagnostic cost was $95. The repairman eventually showed up and I reviewed with him again what the issue was. I have oil and heat pumps with a thermostat outside which switches between the two systems when the outside temp drops below 36F. Unfortunately both systems have been running at the same time. Because of this constant running my electric bill has been $350/month (plus oil). The home is empty with heat set to 50F. Normally it's just $275 when the system was set at 72F inside. So obviously there is an issue. The repairman tried to tell me that it's normal for electric bills to go UP 30% when you drop the interior temp DOWN to 50F! I countered that it does not make any sense. The home is empty. No washer, dryer, fridge or lights on and heat is turned down to 50F so why would my electric bill go UP?? He further explained that when people are living in a home they give off heat and lightbulbs give off heat so a home with 4 people in it with heat set at 72 and the washer, dryer, fridge, 4 TVs, lights, etc all running will cost 30 % less than an empty house with nothing turned on and heat set to just 50F. I'm not sure if I had accidentally put my stupid face on that day, but the laws of physics simply don't support his claim. The root cause for the high electric bills is that I have a heat pump running 24/7 when it should be turning off. That's why my bill is $350. I asked him to check the thermostat to confirm it worked-if it wasn't working this could certainly cause the unit to run non-stop. I returned home an hour later and was informed that he had just disconnected my oil heat, cleaned the oil burner and I now owed him TWO diagnostic fees PLUS another $80 for him to "explain to me how my system worked" plus another $275 for the clean. So I was expected to pay this doofus $80 plus 2 x $95 ($270) for him to explain how lowering my heat and turning off all powered items results in a higher electric bill?? In the end he simply disconnected my entire system so only the heat pumps would run (exact opposite of what I wanted). Hell, I have a PhD in electrical engineering. I could have done that all by myself and not missed breakfast with my friends! I hired them to repair my system and ended up out over $450 for a system that's now worse off than when I called them. Spare yourself the aggravation and call someone else.

We have used Ace Hardware in the past. They were great then and they were great again a few days ago. As most people know, it has been severely cold lately. We called and Ace answered. Our agent this time was Chase. He was very knowledgeable and professional. And, he ensured that our heat pump was working well, all connections were in good shape and the furnace/blower was working properly. Chase really saved the day—we have good heating again and we are very pleased with the service Ace provided! —————————————————————- Once again, Ace Hardware Home Services provided us with expert advice and an excellent work product. As it will happen, we lost our hot water supply and decided to replace our hot water heater. Tyler and Kevin were pretty amazing. Within a week of consulting with Tyler (a real expert), we had a new hot water heater installed. And, they did a beautiful job! So far, this company is batting 100 for us. Quality work, expertise and great value on products. Thanks Tyler and Kevin.

I called Werley to get an estimate to replace my 23 year old HVAC system with a high efficiency heat pump and gas heater. I received a response within 24 hours with an appointment. Kyle came out and looked at my system and we talked about the Trane system I was interested in. We went over the differences from the old and new and the new systems configuration and operation. I had a quote within 24 hours with everything we talked about plus some. The price was better than a quote I received from another HVAC company with less configuration. A week later the installed of the new system started and completely installed in 2 days. They removed all the old system and parts. During the installation they explained everything during the installation and how to use and program the thermostat when they were done with the installation. The system has been working great so far and better than I expected. I would recommend them for any HVAC installation.

We had the opportunity to have Tyler Hall be our plumber who not only came out to replace our outdoor hose connectors (which froze over the winter) but also diagnose our ongoing water pressure issues. He gave us the quote without any sales tactics to move forward like some other companies do. Needless to say we were lucky enough to have Tyler back today to install the new water pressure system and even replace the sump pump that wasn’t working due managing well water softeners for almost 20 years (thankfully it was discovered during the install and not during an emergency). Tyler is an excellent plumber & the in house staff handling client calls are amazing as well. We will definitely use his services as well as Ace Home Services (formerly Werley) for our future plumbing needs.

Very customer oriented. I had awful experiences just calling other HVAC companies to schedule a repair. Monique was very friendly and willing to work with me. I had technicians the day I requested and they diagnosed AND fixed the problem (parts and all) on the same day. All other places wanted to send out some exploratory techs to charge me a fee, order parts, charge me a fee to come back whenever the heck that was going to be and fix it, etc. With everyone else it was a game but Werley appreciated that people can't take multiple days off of work just so techs can rack up service call fees. Much appreciated and will use again in the future!

I am grateful to have someone like him coming into my home to service my equipment. I don’t think I couldn’t ask for a better technician than him Ryan. Yeh, I’m looking forward for him to finish the work that they started. He was very tall. He explained everything to me step-by-step even some other stuff that I don’t understand he do his best to making sure that I was satisfied and I just want to say thank you for being the best you looking forward to work with you. he called me to give me a heads up on time and when he arrived to my property, he also notify me. He introduce himself to me, and I was satisfied with his performance.

We’re first time customers and very satisfied with the service rendered. Matt the technician kept us informed every step of the way. Rusted zone valve needed replacing. Pipe cutting was necessary. He was courteous and considerate of property. With the quality service we received, we’ve opted to obtain a service contract at a very reasonable cost with lots of value for the money. Appreciated that payment information is not retained on company electronic devices used by the technician. A security measure that gets two thumbs up!

I called Ace Hardware Home services and talked with a courteous representative This individual promised to have the service department call me back to help me with my problem That was 3.5 business days ago. I have yet to receive a call back. This is the third time that I have had a similar problem with Ace's customer service wing. Received call this AM Always receive courteous response Company has to improve procedures with respect to customer service handoffs to appropriate staff and on follow up procedures

The service was very good. Exceptional! The only reason the fifth star isn't there is communication and arrival time. Rather than a range, we were given a service time in a specific day. I was away from home for car service when I received a call that the technician finished a prior appointment early and could come an hour early to us. Being away, I could not commit to a change from or scheduled time. The tech was late by almost an hour and I had to call them to find out. This impacted my work from home schedule.

We had Spring maintenance from Ace on our mini split units last week and we could not be happier with the service we received from Miguel and Carlos! Miguel has worked on the units before and is thorough, knowledgeable, courteous and professional! He absolutely knows what he is doing! They took their time to make sure everything was working properly and cleaned the units thoroughly. We highly recommend Ace for their outstanding customer service and in-home service!
