The drainage problem was fixed quickly. The plumber also gave useful maintenance tips.
This was one of the most reliable plumbing experiences I’ve had. The team was disciplined, well-trained, and focused on quality work. They resolved the issue quickly and made sure everything was in proper working condition before leaving.
I recently traded in my travel trailer and ordered a class B Winnebago Travato. My experience with my salesperson. Nick A, was very good. There was no pressure to buy a class B on the lot as I wanted very specific items on my unit. He checked for units around the country to find one, but we decided to order my unit to fit my needs. He was very knowledgeable and careful on my order before we signed. The price, especially in this r-v boom time, was very competitive. Seth, in financial, was also helpful and checked and double-checked my order with me and Winnebago. The "build" will be several months, but the Travato is very popular. Thanks, Mel H.
We bought a 2016 GD Momentum 397TH in March of 2024, Craig was our sales person. It had snow all over the unit and was really clean inside.. the slides were out and everything worked. I specifically asked Craig if there were any previous issues with this unit and was the roof properly sealed and taken care of. He said yes of course. We made the deal! We pulled this camper twice.. well 3 times if you count the pull home... it had extreme frame failure, 1/2" flex that caused major issues and damage.. GD has it up in Indiana and has explained to us that there is moisture in the walls and the floor in the living room slide is rotted from water coming in from the roof .. seals were not completed or take care of. GD has fixed the manufacturer defect and is saying they cannot fix the other issues due to previous damage not caused by the welds breaking. I have spoken with the service rep at Golden CW and was told they do a inspection of every unit before it comes in, well in our campers case, their inspection missed a lot of issues on this camper. We are now without our camper and had only got to use it twice since March of 2024... Do NOT TRUST the salesman there!! We are looking into this issue and will update my review as we go along! Hoping that CW does what is right and fixes our unit so that we can have many years of enjoyment! Also, we purchased the "extended warranty" $6k for a warranty that is useless.. we had issues of the slide not coming in and the auto level system not working... we called the "warranty" and they said they can send a tech out but it would be $200 upfront and if this was deemed not a warranty issue, we would be out the $200... this is ridiculous! I cancelled the warranty. We are shopping around for a better warranty with a more reputable company.
DO NOT GO HERE they only care about screwing you over on a sale! I got an RV from here and after I signed the papers they will not return my phone calls. I then realize after I get home and calling the finance company they got me interest charges more than they sold the RV for. Who does business like this. I was told 13% finance BUT find out it's actually 113% finance. I was also told under the bed was the monitor/NVR for the camera system. The box was empty. I tried calling them and leaving messages but they would not return my call. I went up to the store asking the salesman the monitor was not in the box and he told me" what am I supposed to do about it"!
I don't even know where to start with this place. We took our 2021 camper in for repairs in November of 2022. Keystone (Coleman) built it during Covid, and no joke it is the WORST purchase I've ever made. The first repair was our 2nd trip out when a leaf spring broke and darn near burned the camper down. We had a mobile mechanic come to replace it and were advised that the wrong leaf springs were out on for the weight. We had him change our all four to the tune of $900. A few months later we started seeing panels inside coming off, the facia around the fridge peeling, a leak in the pass through and the awning had always been off center. We dropped off to CW in Golden and found (they documented) Improper installation of the wall panels so the walls in MBR were coming off, leak in the pass through, awning put on wrong, facia around fridge installed too long, dinette seats installed wrong and coming off. All of this after 3 trips. Total repairs over 2k which we refused to pay. Fortunately for us, we picked the camper up when asked and when they tried to bill us they doesn't even know we picked the camper up even though they pulled it out for us! We took were told nothing was covered, they performed unauthorized repairs, and what they repaired was done wrong. The seaming tape for the walls is the wrong color, they only fixed one side, the dinette was still put together wrong, the facia around fridge was not fixed, and best of all, they BURNED OUT the awning motor. We were told to pick the camper up in December while they "tried" to get approval from Keystone (I'm also writing a review for them). We then found out our service advisor was fired, and none of it was actually submitted. We also had them re-winterize after they "fixed" the pass through leak(still not fixed and admittedly installed wrong), and service the slide. First trip out this year, the siding started coming off. We had to pull in to a truck stop and use a mallet and screwdriver to put it back in place as best we could, this resulted in damage to the siding. We had to have a mobile repair guy come out after Camping World in Sioux Falls SD warned us that if they submitted it, our camper has to stay there for repairs. The mobile mechanic advised the siding was not properly fastened to the studs. As a temp fix he used some sheet metal screws to fasten and get us back home. In our 2nd to last day camping my teen daughter work up with bites all over her. We pulled her bedding to find that the side of the camper was detached from the bunk and we could see in to the outdoor kitchen. We screwed in as best we could to get home. Took it to a local repair shop and the slide that CW did service on was set 1.5 inches in too far, the calibration was wrong. This caused the sliding to buckle and start peeling off as we were driving. He also advised the frame might be damaged because of it. Keystone agreed to repair, however I was due in another state for a work assignment and didn't have three weeks to wait. So here we are on our sixth trip and one of the gray tank drain lines broke loose. Yet again, a mobile mechanic came out, had to cut into part of the underbelly only to find that it was improperly put together. The connecting pipe is the wrong size. So far in the two years we have only this camper, it has cost as well over $5000 in repairs. After several times, and reaching out to Keystone, and Camping World corporate, this location has lied at least three times about speaking to us to their own corporate office about scheduling repairs. I would advise anyone who reads this to never buy anything from Camping World.
I would give our salesman at the Golden, Co location Nick T and financing manager Jeremy all 5 stars, as they worked hard to get our deal done. Thank you to them. They were great!!! We were told about a package that HAD to be added to the sale amount, no choice on that one, was supposed to include store items, a DEEP CLEAN, santitizing, and other goodies. Nope. There was fermented urine in the toilet that still leaves a funky smell, the camper had not been cleaned. Even after they had done some repairs they couldn't even clean up the wood/dust shavings left on the floor from when we toured it. ( and mind you we went back a week later after purchasing it to pick it up, so they had ample time to get the deep clean done) ...We were told they didn't have time to go over anything else as they were booked solid on appointments for the day, so we could reschedule our pickup date to have it cleaned and the extras done like we paid for. This was not an option as this was trip number #2 for us,(12 hours round trip) to pick this camper up. No offer of money back for the package that was added that they didn't honor. When we were hooking up the camper to our truck, a couple of their service guys and gal were sitting there smoking at the open door of our camper talking and making fun of people, us included, because my husband put work gloves on to put the hitch and adapter piece onto the truck. Loud enough we heard every word. The camper had cigarette smoke smell now as well. Asked them to move away from the door and they made snide comments. Fast forward to almost 90 days out we still have no title paperwork at our local DMV to register our camper. So now our camper sits in our yard, expired tags, and been calling leaving voicemails for days, supposed handwritten and delivered phone messages (by their snarky front desk ladies) and emailing for days now for help to talk to someone on what we need to do or what they can do to rectify this situation and no luck. Keep getting passed around to voicemail after voicemail. Then get told oh this is happening alot lately, by the front desk people, and lets not forget to mention now the finance company is now barking at us wanting us to get it licensed and registered so they get their title and we have no control over that. We have a camping trip to Yellowstone planned coming up, and hoping to get some kind of help to either get our paperwork and title work so we can get it properly registered and plated, or get a new temp tag while they fix whatever is going on, so we don't have to cancel our trip. Im sure if we do they will not pay our non refundable camp ground fees.
I would love to give this negative stars. Bought a brand new 37 foot Coleman camper. First trip our sliding door fell off which I had to find a way to re-install because the service department told me they were 3 months out on repair. Somewhat understandable with COVID and all so I fixed it myself. Bought it in the summer only to find out a/c doesn't work. Still suffered through the summer. Fast forward to this last winter. We moved to Florida and before we did we had to live in our camper. What a harsh way to find out your heater doesn't work. Add to that the protective covers over the gears on the awning broke right off. Needless to say I Scheduled a service appointment in October. To which they gave me a date to drop the trailer off of December 15th. I literally flew in from Florida to do this one thing. When dropping off they proceed to tell me they can't test the a/c until the summer. They also tell me once they can diagnose my issues and find a solution, which should be in 2-3 days, I'll need to go and pick up my camper until parts come in. No joke it's been 4 months and I have received no phone call. I've called them multiple times. Left emails. Phone messages. No one has gotten back to me. When I miraculously got a hold of someone 2 months ago the guy on the phone said that nothing, yes you heard that correct, nothing had been done to the "brand new" trailer I bought last summer. I'm hoping sharing an honest review about this horrible company will get someone's attention at camping world. And if there's any Attourney out their reading this I would love to hire you to sue these incompetent idiots as they have my camper in their possession and I'm paying for it. I want 100% of my money back and they can keep the piece of crap they sold me. I will never do business with this company again and you shouldn't either. As Of now you can still not get ahold of camping world. Repair line goes straight to a voicemail of a condescending jerk that literally says, "I get hundreds of voicemails a day and will most likely not get back to you, your best chance at reaching me is to send me an email but no guarantees." Seriously. That's his voicemail. They will sell you a brand new lemon and then not fix all the broken parts. I'm flying back to Denver in 2 weeks. Seems to be the only way to get to someone. I fully expect the same answer of "nothings been done". I have no reason to believe otherwise. And if I do I'll make sure to have them pay back every penny they stole.
Wishing I could give this negative stars!! First of all, want to start and say our sales associate was excellent and that he deserves way better than the treatment Camping World-Denver gives him. He had us all set to buy. Oh and we were paying cash ($30K). However, his teeny-tiny, misogynistic, egotistical sales manager, Patrick, I believe, was the biggest issue here. When it came to negotiating, we showed them the same camper for far less than Camping World, and Patrick did nothing. He made up some excuse about laws, etc. Not a good start. Then my favorite. We already had trade appraisal from their affiliate and we were told they would match it. Have picture proof of that as well. He decided nope because it was a pop-up and low-balled us by over $4,000. When we showed him proof that it was to be matched he said he did not care and proceeded to tell us we could leave and trade in elsewhere. He low balled them and we found out the pop-ups he did have were on the grounds for $13K-$15K. And they lacked way more features then ours did and our camper has a sale value of $15,000. His excuses were pitiful. He also told us he does not buy pop-ups and doesn't sell them. When we called him out on his lie and pointed to the three pop ups on the lot, he proceeded to tell us they don't do well because there is a mountain by his shop. Well Patrick, there are a lot of Mountains here and every other camper vendor here does just fine with them. Maybe you need to learn how to become a better sales manager. Oh, and just to make it clear, his affiliate was 2 blocks down the road and had the same mountain by them with a lot of pop ups. Finally, he was completely condescending in how he spoke to both my wife and I. He especially did not like it when my wife questioned him on his lies and he became extremely flustered by that. He raised his voice and proceeded to tell us we could go get our trade in value elsewhere, because we basically called him out in front of his colleagues. Then had the audacity to tell us to come back and buy the one we wanted from him. His sales effort was pitiful, and we know what it means to be in sales. He had made no effort to help us buy the camper we wanted or compensate for his low-ball trade offer, and made no effort to be a good human being. It is sad that people have to work for him, because that is not a leader any business should have. And we will be taking our business elsewhere, and ensure we never recommend this store to anyone.
No wonder Camping World gets 1.5 stars. I purchased a Jayco Trailer new back in 2018. Which I am now putting up for sale. Called parts on 7/4/25 to verify they had a GFI in stock. Told they had two black in stock at $20.+ taxes. I then drove 30 minutes each way. Arrived 2 hours later. They had one black and one white GFI outlet in the retail isle and no others in inventory. Arrived back home an took unit out of the package. Noticed it rattled like 5 or more screws or parts inside moving around loudly. So I looked up the subject up online. Whereby it was suggested not to use the GFI and return the item. Today 7/5/25 called the parts store, after operator quickly put me on hold being put on hold for 10 minutes, I hung up and called right back at which time the operator answered immediately. I just needed to be transferred to the parts dept. Spoke with the parts department (retail dept) and now told they only had one white unit available. Aside from these minor issues like the lack of a basic part like a GFI in inventory etc., I totally understand. No problem. Yet what is prompting this negative review is what happened upon my second one-hour RT trip as to how the part return/exchange transaction went. So now only one white GFI was available. Yet I knew this from when I called this morning. However, they now charged me an additional $7.00! This is the exact part and model number on the packaging! The only difference is the color being "white." Shook the unit and no rattling. And no, it was not the screws within the first unit I verified that possibility. I don't blame the employees they were very nice. They said they had to go by the sku number. Camping world management is run very poorly. To piss off a longtime customer by overcharging any amount is a bad strategy. I never write reviews and yet this to me, is a matter of principle. Good move management, you have now lost a customer forever, and I will be relaying my bad experiences over the years to many others. If they can overcharge intentionally by $7.00 even after me pointing out the error next time it could be $700.00? I was big Jayco fan until over the years I have been astonished at the very high prices I have been quoted for various parts at Jayco online. Go to e-trailer.
THis is the most disorganized, terrible RV service provider in the country, you would be out of your mind to do business with these jokers. From the beginning of my service , directed by GEICO to this dealer. The dealer continuosly asked me to pay for items covered directly by Geico. I had to get several management involved, just to have the insurance claim initiated. SO many management issues, that this place i am surprised is still in business. Gina is an awful employee who argued incorrectl with me several times, slowing dowwn everything by weeks. It required me going back to service 3 times to TRY to get the work order corrected. I have been standing by for emergency repairs in Golden colorado for 3 months, and just received a call that parts are 3 months away. THis dealer is such a mess, that i have lost 3 months of use of rv for my business, i have had to fly out to Golden repeatedly just to prevent mistakes, and make no mistake, this dealer does not care at all about the client. I am now reaching out to legal help as the delay of 5 month while traveling, has harmed my business, and the carelessness of this dealer, had i known previously, would have detoured me completely from going to them. They are horrible, they are a OVER BILLING machine, as they tried to get Geico to pay $12,000 for $3600 generator. The aggregious billing had to be disputed, and now i have made zero progress wth this company. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU DONT CARE ABOUT MONEY OR TIME. they are THE WORST rv repair shop i have ever encountered, and most importantly , they do not care about YOU. If i could do less than one star , i would. GOin on to month 4 with no work done, and my service date cancelled less than a week before unit was to go in, as they just discovered that the generator is months out, and this would not have mattered had they ordered parts in a timely manner. PS- Geico identified a unit the same day it was discussed that the part was needed. For this to be goin on 4 months, is a direct reflection of CW. STAY AWAY,
Wow, what a disappointment! I will start by saying, "don't get your RV or tow vehicle serviced here," period. I bought a 2018 travel trailer, that was almost brand new, from an independent person. I wanted to have my Lincoln installed with a 7 plug and brake assistance for my trailer. I paid about $2000.00 for this, which I later learned was a complete ripoff! My salesman was Lonny, a hired thief, as far as I am concerned. So many promises, then a change of price, etc.. I mean the most dishonest salesperson I have ever met in my life, and I sell for a living! He played so many games with me on the pricing, and yet the quality of the job done was awful! I had to return my SUV the day after I got it back, as the 7 way plug didn't work lighting up the trailer lights etc.. After spending another three hours at their place waiting the next day, I was guaranteed the plug was five, and fixed. I also questioned the brake wiring, as the wires were all over the place, and not put up nice at all? Lonny, and Walter the mechanic, assured me it's okay, that's normal etc.. please note; I had another shop, Integrity Automotive, look at the wiring, after the lights went out a second time. First, I called Camping World to talk to Sam the Service Manager, while stranded on the highway, with no return call. I called multi-times, over two days, only to be brushed off! Horrible service team! Anyways, Integrity Auto told me is was the worst wiring job they have ever seen in their history! So sad... Please note, I spent another $1000 on misc camper items at the store. Only to learn Lonny got me again, by charging me install on my battery, that I didn't need. (I learned later). It was suppose to be free install, but he charged me. When I went back, he had all kinds of excuses, even thou I had an ad showing him; clearly he was playing yet another game. Horrible experience, I will never do business with them again. I am going to file a formal complaint with the BBB, as I have heard so many bad things about this company!
We bought our trailer from camping world and it has been nothing but a nightmare! We told everyone that we were new to owning a trailer so they need to help us with the in's and out's of owning one. They sold us a package deal that includes bedding, propane tank, sewer tubes, eclectically hookup, water hookup, and other items, We only got half of what they showing and we had to go back to pick it up. Which was not good because we took our trailer out the next weekend and had to go buy the items we were missing. We also had a trailer hitch package installed with a ball and sway bars, it was suppose to come with a hook tool to move the sway bars, it was never given to us, and there was no training when it came to unhitching the trailer, instead they made me call Good Sam's support. When I called the sales person to tell him what happened he was like no big deal just come in and pick up all the items, when I asked who does a quality check he said no one. My wife called them on Tuesday this week to ask them where our registration was and we never heard back from them, so we went into the dealership today to find out that they had a tax issue, they never called us to let us know. They gave us another temp tag but never apologized for the mess up or not calling us back. It seems that no one in this company cares about the customer they only care about how much money they can make. I called the GM (Stephen Hager) this afternoon around 12:30 and he has not called me back the person that answered the phone was trying to push me off to someone else, when I specifically asked for the GM. I will never do business with this company again. If I could give them a negative number I would. Do yourself and your money a favor and don't do business with them.
Cross posting from Google Reviews... About as close to an abusive experience with their Service Department as it gets. Sam Morgan (Customer Service Manager) should be fired for his conduct towards my family. Our $100K RV has sat in their shop for 11 weeks pending repairs under warranty - which was a $13K package we were sold by your Sales Rep to cover any and all interior mishaps - and not one thing has been touched. We called every other week requesting status updates - nothing. So when things came to a head today and we questioned them as to why to lack of progress: Sam tried gaslighting my husband and assigning blame to... us? Told us we'd have more luck calling the manufacturers directly to get parts ordered. I'm sorry, WHAT? Does it get any more insane? Oh and sometime during those 11 weeks, our front bumper got hit on their lot. Who's going to take ownership for that one? Certainly not Sam and Camping World. Again, abusive. I'm sure most have had a somewhat pleasant experience when purchasing their camper through CW - but let me tell you - if and when you ever need to get it serviced... prepare yourself for a beyond painful experience. I'm ashamed to be their customer of 4 years. Obviously we will never do business with CW again citing this experience. Also still awaiting a call back from the GM... one week and counting. Does anyone care about their customers at Camping World? Isn't this 2021 and Customer Experience is the future of all business? Oh and before you try to reply to me with your canned response and general email address so that you can 'see if we can turn things around', save it. Pull the call between my husband Ryan Daniels and Sam Morgan from today and listen for yourself. Do better!
WARNING: DO NOT CONSIGN your RV with Camping World (CW)! We tried it, and it was one of the worst experiences we've ever had with a merchant! They make the sleazy, slime-ball used car salespeople we've dealt with in the past look like angelic astrophysicists. Not only is it nearly impossible for CW to return phone calls, the process of reclaiming our unit and bringing it back to the condition it was in prior to consigning it was a nightmare! We were told that the RV would be cleaned and detailed prior to listing but NOTHING was done. It was overpriced and I doubt that in the four months it was consigned more than a few potential buyers looked at it. When we picked it up it was damaged and items had been lost. Shame on me for agreeing to sign the contract relieving CW of liability for damage. I didn't expect it to be a problem, but sure enough, due to their careless, negligent ineptitude, it was damaged. Shame on CW for their astonishing lack of customer care! Displaying incredible arrogance, they're more interested in sales revenue than customer satisfaction. I can't emphasize enough how unhappy we are with CW and hope we can warn others not to deal with this incompetent organization. Not only did they not sell our RV, they LOST our license plates, LOST a seat cushion, misplaced the owner's manual, and damaged the hood and a headlight! It was only through constant, seemingly endless badgering that the manual was recovered and the cushion finally replaced. No help from them though in replacing the license plates and having the hood and headlight replaced at OUR expense and time! Unbelievable lack of caring or professional conduct!!
