My basement was flooded. Two companies told me I need to replace the boiler and water heater for about 10k. Mason and Andrew from abbey plumbing came help me take a look. Mason did a thorough inspection and explained to me there is some moisture in the oil boiler but the control panel is dry. He reset it and turned it on. It worked beautifully. He did the same for hot water heater. Long story short, there are very few honest hvac people now. Dan, the owner of abbey hires honest people. Mason will be the one I call for anything hvac related going forward. Thank you!!!!
Abbey Plumbing & HVAC did a fantastic job replacing my failed water heater. Dan was quick to respond and got a technician out immediately. The technicians worked very professionally and explained everything that they were doing. I would strongly recommend this team.
I have had great experiences with Abbey Plumbing for my businesses. The Abbey team is always responsive, thorough and knowledgeable. Thank you
Kitchen sink was blocked up and Zoom (bought out by Stellar Brands which is info potential customers should be aware of) said that much of the new kitchen would have to be dismantled and every company I contacted re that said the quartz countertop would likely not survive, nor would the floor. The house is on a slab and it looked to be an ex-pensive and very destructive process since no one, not even a professional pipe finding outfit, could tell where the pipe went. On the advice of Chatgpt, I hired a project manager and he came up with a plan to reroute the pipe and enlisted Ab-bey to do the work. Part of the kitchen did need to be dis-assembled but in a relatively minor way. Abbey laid new pipe under the cabinets, jackhammered the concrete floor from the corner of the kitchen, along the dining room wall and connected it to the powder room pipe, then recement-ed the area. The reason no one could find the pipe is because it is Or-angeburg, not iron. Orangeburg was produced during WWII when there was an iron shortage and it is basically made up of whatever was lying around at the time and any war years – 1948 – house like mine is likely to have used that so be advised, it is not good. The Abbey team was fantastic, especially Colin, a smart, creative and calming. The whole thing took about three days and cost around $6k.
Professional and came out SAME day to fix a major water problem. Thank you to Michael, our tech and to Abbey Plumbing & HVAC, LLC. Highly recommend and will be using again! Thank you!
