She told me she’d check on the plumbers’ availability and call me back, and true to her word, she called within minutes and got us an appointment that same afternoon. Justin arrived right on time and immediately made a great impression. He introduced himself, thoroughly inspected both the inside and outside of the house, and clearly explained what was causing the issue along with my options. He worked efficiently and had everything resolved in under an hour. The price he gave was fair, especially for the high level of quality service and quick turnaround. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Justin’s expertise, efficiency, and excellent customer service left me highly satisfied. My neighbor and I previously hired Tony for a plumbing project and were so impressed with how quickly he responded and was able to change out two leaking outside spigots and install a sink on the spot without advance notice. He was so professional and a wonderful person to be around. When my neighbor called me mid-day Friday to tell me she had water leaking in her basement, I determined it was coming from behind the wall under the kitchen sink. She called Tony who came out and immediately knew what was going on and told us the drain pipe was probably rusted out, what it would take to fix it and estimated cost. Based on the estimate and our past experiences, we immediately agreed to going forward with the repair. He started at 3:45 on Friday and at 5:00 I told him that if he needed to be somewhere he could finish it on Saturday morning. He arrived first thing in the morning and finished the job. He went over and above what was originally the drain set up and made it better. He is such a wonderful person to be around, explains what is going on and keeps you advised through the whole process. I would not use any other plumber and strongly recommend his services to anyone in need of any size plumbing job.

Tony, Justin, and the rest of the guys were exceptional. We learned about them from our neighbor when we were in an emergency situation. Our basement flooded and Tony might as well have been family from that point on, calling frequently to make sure that we understood how to fix it, how long the work would take, and then calling regularly to check in on us. They do much more than plumbing, and we are looking forward to having their help with other projects.

My experience with Tony the plumber initially was positive. He came to my house to repair my toilet and sump pump. The job was completed to my satisfaction. However when I needed him for subsequent jobs, namely to repair my water heater and later to replace my back up sump pump he never showed, despite saying so over the phone and by text. Very unreliable and unprofessional. If you say you're going to come by to repair something you should keep your word and not leave someone high and dry especially when they have little children that are affected by the lack of water for basic necessities. Don't waste your time or money using this plumber. Find someone else instead!

Surprised with the reviews. Gentlemen I spoke with gave off such an attitude with all the questions I asked. Not sure how they do their quotes over the phone but wow so overpriced compared to the rest. Still had them out for an estimate and they gave this crazy estimate almost triple of other places. Also, they suggested a pretty big project needed to be done that would cost over 5,000$. What we ended needing done was a basic rotting. I would get many quotes before I would consider them at first.

All seemed well until a week ago, when it happened again. The plumber said "I need to replace thep-trap in the basement floor. It's a lot of work. It will take me all day, at least." But he explained that he was too busy to do the work for several days, at best, so we decided to find someone who could come sooner. Finding a good plumber is hit or miss. I reviewed numerous of firms on Yelp and the reviews were all over the map. I noticed that AA Anthony's was close by and had good reviews, so we decided to give him a try. A woman answered on the second ring. Good sign. She said, "I can have a plumber there in about an hour. Will you be there?" Of course! The plumber who arrived rodded the drain pipe, but was perplexed when he encountered an obstruction that he couldn't clear. He arranged for the owner (Anthony) to come the following morning with a larger machine. When he arrived, Anthony surveyed the situation carefully and felt that there was more to the story than met the eye. He insisted that it was important to determine if our drains (floor drain and laundry sink drain) were connected to our neighbor's. But the neighbor wasn't home and hadn't been for at least a week. Anthony said, "When you reach him, call me right away." Through some good fortune, our neighbor returned that afternoon. Anthony came back promptly and we went to survey the situation next door. He discovered that our drain was connected to our neighbor's sump pit. More importantly, he found, to our neighbor's surprise, that the sump pump had failed and the pit was filled with water. I happened to have a spare (it's ALWAYS good to have a spare sump pump in Evanston) and Anthony replaced the bad one within a few minutes. Problem solved. No all day p-trap replacement. No work in our house at all, so our report is as follows: Promptness: 5 stars Professionalism: 5 stars Attitude: 5 stars Cost: You get what you pay for. AA-Anthony plumbers solved the problem in less than 24 hours; didn't make a mess; wore booties; were very personable. It hurt our wallet, but it was worth every penny. One thing that I should note: They don't charge by the hour, but rather, by the job, so it may seem expensive. The other plumber charged $220 in August (~30% less). But: He was busy and said he'll try to come "tomorrow;" I had to call him 3 times before he finally committed to a day/time; he arrived later than scheduled; and, most importantly, he didn't identify the actual problem. Lastly, an old joke: A pipe burst in a doctor's house. He called a plumber. The plumber arrived, unpacked his tools, did mysterious plumber-type things for a while, and handed the doctor a bill for $325. The doctor exclaimed, "$325! I don't even make that much as a doctor!" The plumber shrugged said, "I didn't either when I was a doctor."

Yesterday I woke up and my water heater was not heating up. So I started looking for a plumber in Winnetka IL. I called several plumbing services near my area. After about 7 calls with no luck, I came across Anthony's Plumbing Service. He was very nice and polite over the phone. I got really good vibes from him that I didn't get from the other plumbers. I knew immediately that I was in good hands. I had talked to several other plumbers before I got intouch with him and I just didnt like the way they acted towards me when I told them the situation. In my eyes it was an emergency because I had to go to work soon.. They just didn't seem very nice over the phone. Now I'm glad i had a tough time finding a plumber that was available, because I would have never found this plumbing company. I will be using and recommending this plumbing service from now on out. The least I could do is leave him a good review. AA Anthony's Plumbing Sewer & Drain was a very pleasant experience! Pricing was not expensive at all... definitely affordable. This customer is 100% satisfied! Tony completely turned my day around. I couldn't believe how fast they got here and finished fixing my hot water heater. I was a little late to work but atleast I didn't miss the whole day. Thanks Again

I regret ever calling these guys. I ended up having a slight back up last weekend and had a little flooding in my basement. I knew it was a problem with my sewage ejector pump, but I figured it was just clogged or a little dirty. I had AA come by and they pretty much immediately told me that my ejector was "junk" and they could replace it for 900 bucks. Let me point out that the pump was underwater and completely out of sight, so either he had ex-ray vision or he was just trying to expand the scope of the job. I was pretty shocked by the price so I asked them how long it would take and what did the part cost. The part cost a "few hundred" and its an hour or so of work. Well with some quick math, I came to the conclusion that their labor rates are absolutely insane. I told them thanks, but no thanks! I ended up having to pay 180 bucks for them to come to my house for 15 minutes. Well about an hour or so later I had someone walk me through some basic troubleshooting and guess what..... the ejector was just a little dirty and needed to be cleared out. Problem solved! What a waste of money, but at least they didn't convince me to replace my 3 year old ejector for almost a thousand bucks. Be cautious with this company or better yet...call someone you trust.

So I saw all the great reviews AA Anthony's had and I told my husband to give them a call. Someone was suppose to come out on Saturday at around 4:30pm, however no one showed up. At around 6:00pm, someone FINALLY called to see if it would still be okay to come by. Now we wouldn't have minded if the guy would have called at 4:30pm and said, "Hey, I'm running late. Can we reschedule this for 6:30pm or 7:00pm?" I understand that people get busy, but you still have to let your other appointments/customers know what's going on. So my husband and I decided to give AA Anthony's another shot. We scheduled an appointment for Thursday at 4:15-4:30pm, and guess what happened?! NO ONE SHOWED UP!!! We didn't receive a call until about 7ish, stating that they know we had an appointment for around 6 (nice try, it was 4:15-4:30) but the plumber is running a bit late and if we were still available, seriously? Then after I declined, I was asked if I wanted to reschedule...Are you guys kidding me? You missed two scheduled appointments....I have a simple philosophy...if I can't get you to come when I want to GIVE you money, how will I ever get a hold of you if/when I have issues?

Don't be fooled into thinking this is a plumbing and sewer company. AAAnthony runs a full construction business. We first called Anthony when we had what we thought was 'sewer gas'. We had a few people come and try to tell me it was from the garbage disposal. Even AFTER it was removed! Anthony came in and diagnosed the problem right away. Apparently, when Airroom remodeled our kitchen, they never vented the sink properly. Anthony fixed it and....no more sewer gas odor. Then we had a problem with water leaking into the downstairs bathroom. At that time, we decided that even though we had enough material to repair the issue, we went ahead with a full remodel. AAAnthony and his crew were timely and immaculate. They never left anything behind so you could tell there was work being done. While they were working, they were respectful of the sleeping baby and our barking dog. We have had them back to do other small projects and we are doing the kitchen in the spring. I can't wait to see how it turns out. EVERYONE that has seen the bathroom has said they have never seen such a perfect tile job! Thanks Anthony!!! See you soon!

So, I had a kitchen sink back-up Friday. A 5* Yelp plumber with many reviews was first on the scene, and tried rodding out the pipes. But couldn't do it, and said they'd have to return, cut into my galvanized pipe (at a cost of $1600) in the basement to get to the blockage. In the mean time, I had my daughter's family visiting with little children and couldn't use the kitchen sink. The 5* Yelp plumber at first said he'd try to finish the job the following Monday, which turned into Thursday. So on a Sunday nite, we contacted AA Anthony's. At first they said they'd come Monday at noon, but in fact showed up at 9am, and completed the entire job in 1.5 hours, for half the price, and put in a clean-out in case I ever have this problem again. I am overwhelmed by the speed, efficiency, ability to contact them on a Sunday night, their rapid assessment and ability to solve the problem at half the cost of another Yelp 5* plumber. AA Anthonys is like from another universe.

I had a leaky shower faucet, and I was looking for a plumber. I turned online and picked Tony not only based on the reviews but also a good feeling I got when I spoke with him over the phone. He came on time and replaced the cartridge. He went above and beyond and gave me advice on do's and don's since I was a new condo owner. He is polite, knowledgeable, and very professional. After three weeks, there was a mechanical failure to the cartridge and I called him on Friday. He came on the next morning and replaced it free of cost even though I was willing to pay him since it was not his fault but he said,we warranty our work. While he was washing hands, noticed that bathroom sink faucet is a little bit clogged, and he opened it and cleared the clogged. you don't get this type of courtesy service these days anymore, but Tony is exceptional. If you need a plumber, you can call Tony (owner),and I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed.

Had an emergency at 2 pm. First floor apt. shower was backing up with sewage and it was graduation day with family members arriving after ceremony. SOS. I called five companies, some didn't even pick up their phone but AA Anthony's picked up on the first ring. I explained the situation and the very friendly office person said she would have Benjamin out within a few hours. Benjamin called and said he would be there and kept in touch letting me know his status as traffic was heavy. He called when he arrived. Benjamin was extremely personable and professional. He analyzed the problem and went straight to resolving it. He cleaned up after he rodded sewer cleanout and I never knew he was there. Problem was fixed and family came not knowing there had been a problem. Thank you Benjamin!!!

I am very pleased with the service form AA Anthony's Plumbing. We admittedly waited too long to have our sewer lines cleaned and started to get water backing up. They arrived the same day and were able to address the problem quickly; although, it was a bigger job than we both originally thought. That said, there communication was very clear at the outset to say it could be one of two things. If option 1, the cost is x. If option 2, the cost is y. In reality, I think we discovered option 3, but they held firm on their original proposal and have a very happy customer. Therefore, I will be using them again AND will arrange to have the sewer line clean out on a regular basis to avoid the same issue the next time around. Doug
