A J Dauphin & Son

Called AJD for a couple of jobs I needed done, one of them something I wanted done ASAP; I was also looking for some broad advice on water softening systems and such. We were very pleased how quickly they came out; they offered some good advice and we were very happy with the work, which was completed just a few days later at a very reasonable price.

Choose no other! David and Shannon of AJ Dauphin are great as are other members of their team. My husband's family started using this company in the 1960's. AJ Dauphin has provided services (water heater, toilet repair/replacement, faucets, dishwasher, etc. )at my two properties in more recent years including fixing other people's poor work. So, be careful whom you hire! Prompt, personable, patient and skilled: that's AJ Dauphin and Son.

If there was 6 Stars I would give it to AJ. So the story is we had a second floor bathroom sink that was completely blocked and we called one of those local "$99 price clean your drain" plumbing companies. That company came out and stated they could not snake the line and needed to cut into the wall. They then proceeded to present me with this high ticket quote. So I decided to get a second opinion and a friend recommended AJ Dauphin. Best decision ever. They were able to schedule an appointment for me next day, they arrived on time, snaked the line, completed the task , cleaned up the area - all of this at an extremely fair price. They are my new plumber!

We recently had to go through an unexpected kitchen reno due to mold. With very little warning, the kitchen was down to studs and we discovered we needed our whole house replumbed. The first company I consulted quoted me about $1,300 more than AJ Dauphin & Son and the two techs that came out were kind of alarmist. Whereas Dauphin sent out Newt, who was calm and walked me through the situation and his plan to do the job. I went with Dauphin and I couldn't have been happier. Newt and John were fantastic - total professionals who clearly take pride in their work. Everything was meticulous and they left the work areas impeccable. Newt came back two separate times after the initial replumb - once to lengthen the lines through two base cabinets and again to hook up the sink/faucet/dishwasher/water filtration system. The second time, no charge. The third time, parts only. The company's owner, Dan, could not have been nicer and was always willing to talk things through with me on the phone. I will never use another plumber again, and I highly recommend these guys to anyone who believes in quality work at fair prices. Thank you to the full team for making this one part of the harrowing process a dream more than a nightmare.
