Moving in from out of state and had a plumbing issue in the basement that needed immediate fixing while we were in town for the weekend at our new home. Dave at A. Friend plumbing was the only one who was willing/able to come out on a Saturday to save my basement. He fixed it, did a great job, and was the nicest person you will ever meet. He will be getting a call from me any time I have plumbing needs in the future.

I tried to give a review on Angi but by the time I was done, set up a password and gave information to spam me, I quit. Dave does an excellent job, is reasonably priced, but, he also gives a time when he will be there, not a two hour window. For a businessman, that is worth a lot, and I appreciate it. He also tells you if there are things he could do but you can do yourself without difficulty. Best I have ever encountered in Westerville, and I recommend him highly.

Hired Dave for a couple plumbing projects. Price was very fair and he got to them in a timely manner. He is a very talented plumber and more importantly a good person. I asked him about another project and he didn't try to sell me his services. He said of course he could do it but that I could easy do it as well and explain all that was involved. I highly recommend him!

Will not use this guy again. I used him about six months ago to replace a leaking shower head cartridge. He had to come back the next day because he installed a faulty part. I used him this time, because everyone deserves a second chance, to replace the gaskets in two commodes. He broke the shut off valve on one of the commodes. He showed it to me and said that I needed to pay him $75 to replace it.. when I said oh, you are going to charge me to replace something you broke, he replied well, it was corroded. I looked right at him and said it's plastic, plastic doesn't corrode. He said, well it was old and brittle. What choice did I have?

Don't bother calling if you live outside Westerville. Called asking for service on the city's northwest side, and was abruptly told they don't come out to this area.

I'm not just satisfied with my service from David, I'm grateful. With in home service, hard to believe but true. David may just be the first person in the service industry who was perfectly on time, which was greatly appreciated when I needed to get back to work. My Garbage Disposal was acting up, which he fixed in short order, and I had an existing issue with my Dishwasher. Since he was here, Memorial Day sales were approaching, and I didn't want to waste money on a purchase if it was a reasonable fix, I asked about it too. He wasn't phased one bit by the additional inquiry, inspected my current machine, explained exactly what was going on so I could make my own decision, provided options (including his rates for install, suggestions on who to buy through, and in my particular case encouraged me to go the vendor for install), and all in was done within a half hour. Efficient, intelligent, kind, and how many service folks have you met that suggest options that aren't necessarily in their best interest, but are in yours? His rate was very reasonable which is appreciated on a budget. Thanks to his advice I was able to take advantage of this weekend's sales, saving me much research time, second guessing, effort, and money. Thank you so much David! You're not just a knowledgeable technician, you're a great human being. We need more like you!

I called asking for a consult/estimate for a new water heater install. To my surprise, Dave came over within a half hour. He was very polite and informative. He gave me a solid estimate and stated he could install the next day. I still needed to check the schedule, get other estimates, etc. His prices were very competitive and much lower than the big-name firms in the area. The install was about 1.5 hours and Dave continued to be very professional. He answered all of my questions, gave me tips and ensured I understood the new heater’s functions. It’s been over a week since the install and I have had no problems or worries. Hot water is flowing as intended. Thanks Dave.

My husband is a DIYer but couldn't figure out where he went wrong fixing a problem with my shower (no hot water). When he called A. Friend Plumbing and described the issue, David had a hunch about what it was and came out same-day to verify. Yep, he was right! He gave us clear instructions on how to replace a specific part, showed us online what it looked like, and told us which stores carried it. He charged us nothing for the consultation (what?!?!) and my husband fixed it in a short amount of time. Thanks to David, we saved a pile of money and my husband was able to finish the job he started. Thank you, David!

A. Friend Plumbing repaired my leaking faucet in one upstairs bathroom shower and a whining shower faucet that needed to have the cartridge replaced in our guest bathroom. Easy to make an appt., arrived on time, efficiently and expertly repaired both faucets in a timely manner. This is my second time using this plumber. Very happy both times. They replaced my water heater in 2017.

Dave is the best plumber I've ever done business with. He's done a bunch of things for me, installed a sump pump, replaced a water heater, installed some new toilets, replaced a kitchen faucet. etc On every job his work has been simply excellent. I wouldn't hire anyone else at this point, and don't intend to. Why would I? I've found the best!

My husband and I had a leaky faucet in our bathtub. A. Friend Plumbing was able to come next day to fix it. We weren't able to be home at the time, and gave him permission to enter. He did a fantastic job and left no mess. The only suggestion I would make is to have him leave a note describing what he did if the homeowner isn't home.

Our garbage disposal was leaking water everywhere. Dave came out the same day that I called. He notified us 10 minutes before he arrived, was on time, and quickly replaced the fixture. He was kind and easy to work with. I would highly recommend A. Friend Plumbing to anyone looking for a skilled and professional plumber!

A Friend Plumbing was HORRIBLE!!! I needed assistance removing toilet flange. The plumber showed up looked at the flange and said this is not made to come off. Then proceeded to charge me $85.00!!! Very unreasonable. If you are looking to lose your shorts call A Friends Plumbing. NOT A Friend Plumbing is more like it.

David came out to help me out when a house project went wrong. He ended up fixing my issue and helping me finish my water line project since there wasn't much left to it. I asked many questions while he was helping me out and graciously answer all of then. I would highly recommend.

Very friendly and provides excellent service. Was very knowledgeable, patient and willing to assist my wife in how to hook up new water lines to the washer that we did not have on site when he was there. Very pleased and we will use them moving forward in the Westerville area.
