A Better Plumber (an Absolute Plumbing Company)

Calling into their dispatch they were extremely empathetic to me and when Michael showed up, he walked me through how to reset my water heater and was beyond friendly. From the moment he walked in he was professional and kind, it honestly felt like having a friend visit. I've had work from these guys years ago and I'm happy to see their quality has only increased.

Frank was very professional. He was also friendly, ensured I understood everything he was doing and answered all of my questions. He is very knowledgeable and efficient. I have a membership with this company because of technicians like Frank, who make my wife and I feel very comfortable and happy with what we’re getting for the prices we pay.

Gabriel came out on Friday to fix a shower leak and I bought new fixtures for him to install. He also fixed a wobbling toilet. He did a free inspection of the old galvanized pipes and took his time to explain and answer a lot of my questions. He had to come back out to my house again today to finish the work because some of the fixtures I bought didn’t fit. And because of a misunderstanding with customer service thinking he was finished with the job. He felt bad and brought a better shower fixture to be installed. He had to replace some old piping and was here for a while. When he left for another job he had with someone else- he had to return, as there was a leak on the drain in the tube. It was very late but he came and fixed it. He cleaned everything up. He is nice to talk too and he was friendly to my yapping dogs. Him and the boss were good about working with me about the cost. I am grateful for that. I know he had put in a long day and was tired and hungry.

Better Plumber replaced a hot water heater for us in October 2023; they were more expensive than others but we had a tight timeline and they could do it same day. The guys that actually did the work were great...their office and admin were not. They said that their admin would get the permit for us and check with insurance to see if anything would be covered...it's almost a year later and we still haven't gotten the permit after several calls / back and forth with them.

Gerardo came to fix the hot and cold valves underneath my kitchen sink. He did a fantastic job! Was so knowledgeable and friendly. Gerardo did the job quickly too. Would definitely ask for him with any plumbing job in the future. The only thing that could have been better was the communication from the company itself. There was a misunderstanding on what time the plumber would arrive. I don't mind delays because I know things can come up, especially with plumbing jobs, but I was also dealing with time restrictions from my HOA that made me concerned that the repair would not be done on time. Gerardo came within the time frame originally stated, and did a fantastic job! However, I was told by Absolute that he would likely be done early and could come earlier to fix the valves. I ended up calling twice. The first time it sounded like he would arrive when originally scheduled at Noon, not early like we'd hoped. Then 12:30 rolled around and he still hadn't showed up. I had to call a 2nd time and was told he got delayed. When I finally got a text he was on his way, there was no ETA given. I didn't know if he was nearby and would be here in 10 minutes, or across town. It did take him an hour to get here. I'm happy, the job is done, and again I understand there are delays, I just would like better communication from the company. Gerardo, great job on the repair, thanks again!

I can continue to write highly praising reviews of A Better Plumber. During a recent very cold freeze cycle our pipes froze on the outside of the house. At first we thought it was where the meter is located. Every attempt at heating that area up proved nothing. Finally, we realized that 1.5 years ago, in the summer, we had an issue with our sewer. We had A Better Plumber come out and take care of that, but sadly one of their contractors while digging the sewer out, which happened to run right next to our water intake pipe, didn't bother to fill the dirt back in and the whole that was created by the old sewer pipe wasn't sealed off. We couldn't see that, but through deduction we thought that must be it. After talking the manager, Alex, he personally came out and dug around to validate our theory. He stayed out in the sub-zero temperatures to unfreeze our pipes and then contacted their former sub and made them come out and do the job correctly. We have since had sub-zero temps again and the water of flowing great! We super appreciate Alex jumping on out issue personally and making sure it was working to our satisfaction. Great job!

This review is to corroborate others that indicate the high prices of the work. Similar to others, I was surprised by a quote that was over $3500, when another plumber quoted the same job at $1500. The plumber also told me that I would have to rip out my cabinets, which I did not have to do. I never intended to write this review. I was looking for a plumber for a different job and came back to A Better Plumber because I genuinely liked the person that was sent last time. Now, I am confident I will be going with someone else based on others experiences with outrageous quotes. They probably do good work, but reading other reviews tells me there is a pattern, and I do not feel like I would get a fair price.

Absolute Plumbing was awesome to work with! We had a hot water heater burst early in the morning, and they were able to get someone out that afternoon to take a look at it and diagnose the problem. Gerardo showed up and was quick to work on the problem and was able to replace the water heater with the exact one we already had that afternoon/evening. We were back up and running with hot water that day and we were really impressed with their speed and service! Gerardo was very punctual and friendly and kept us up to date on timelines. The pricing was pretty fair for our model and installation of the water heater. I’d highly recommend Absolute if you need anything done plumbing-wise!

Nick I want to say thank you for a job well done. I called the day before to A Better Plumbing and with in minutes you responded and said you was on your way, by the time I got home , you was already at my house observing the situation to see why I didn’t have water. After observing you found the issue and told me what needed to be done. You came back bright and early this morning and got right to work. You were very welled manger and respectable. Jeremy A. was solid. // On time for the drain and plumbing inspection. Good connection on arrival. Really understands plumbing. He put together clear plan for some old valves that needed to be replaced. These are things I knew about already, so having a professional confirm them was all I needed to go ahead with the work. It was scheduled promptly the next day and was done thoroughly. When he was done, he walked me around to debrief all the work. (Gabe T. worked with him and they were a great team!) // Absolute is my go-to for plumbing!

I can not thank Absolute Plumbing Company enough. I called this morning to fix my little snafu and they came same day. Beau H. was knowledgeable, fast, and had all needed parts with him. Was here less than an hour and everything is working great. Reasonably priced. We will definitely be using them again and will request Beau H. personally every time!!!!!!

Gabriel Tavarez did the whole house repiping with PEX at my place and built an awesome manifold system. He was very detail oriented, professional, and punctual. Got everything done efficiently. The quality of work and attention to details and providing the right guidance for the project makes him my go-to for all plumbing needs on my property.

We had a perfect experience with Absolute Plumbers! Gerardo arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He immediately was able to diagnose and fix our problem with the toilet and even installed a brand new kitchen faucet that we hadn’t even scheduled them for. Gerardo was truly outstanding at his job and as a person.

We have ran into a few problems at our house lately, but Absolute has been communicative, responsive, and timely. Jeremy was efficient and gave excellent service with our plumbing check. Reuben was able to quickly diagnose a leak and apply a fix in a very reasonable time. Overall, our household is very satisfied.
