After comparing a few quotes for pipe repair, we chose this company. Their evaluation felt thorough and not rushed. The repair was completed within the estimated timeframe and the results have held up well. I would consider using their service again if needed.
Booked them for water heater installation after our old unit failed. The consultation covered sizing, recovery time, and energy use, which helped us decide. Installation took a few hours, and hot water was back the same day. The team worked efficiently and answered questions patiently.
Scott came out to check our water heater because we thought it might need replacing. We were prepared for a big plumbing bill, but Scott carefully inspected everything first. He was completely honest and let us know that a replacement wasn't needed yet, which was a relief. Scott also took the time to explain how the water heater works and even adjusted the temperature to make sure it was safe for our home. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and we really appreciated his honesty and the time he spent helping us understand the system. It's rare to find plumbing companies that care this much about their customers, and we are grateful for the great service.
If I can give this place customer service a negative number I would give them -3 stars. My daughter lives in Clovis and we visited this place when my family was up there to visit. Their bagels were better than any place where I lived so I asked my daughter to pick up the dozen deal with an extra tub of cream cheese to fly home during the holidays. The first time, they shorted me 3 whole bagels, and missing one tub of cream cheese and the remaining bagels were not even what we ordered. I thought, oh maybe they were busy so ok fine. Second time we ordered online, my daughter happened to come right at 3:00pm and they close at 3pm. She had to stand at the door arguing with the staff for 10 min just to pick up the online order that gas already been paid for and was sitting on the counter in the back. All they had to do was walk back there and grab it for her but instead tge staff rather stand at the door argue with my daughter for 10 min and shorted us yet another tub of cream cheese!!!!! That's the last straw!!! I don't give a rats ass how good their bagels are my entire family will be boycotting Harry's bagels and all of their locations forever. I don't believe we can't find another bagel shop that's better and gas waaaay better customer service! Bye Harry's!
This location is terrible. Count on them to mess up your order half the time. The managers literally do nothing but stand by and watch.
Definitely not the best bagel sammies and def should not be callin' themselves a New York bagelry. Came here to grab a bagel sandwich to eat during the drive to Kings Canyon. The good thing about this bagel shop is that it opens up pretty early (at 5:30 am during the week). It's also located just a short walking distance from CSU Fresno. The interior was sparkling clean and service at the counter was efficient. They've got a nice assortment of bagels and other baked goods, and they also serve coffee and café drinks too. Ironically, they don't have chai tea or chai lattes. I decided to order an iced mango tea and a "beggelwich" which is a breakfast bagel with egg, American cheese, and meat. Adding meat and other items will cost you additional funds. I added Canadian bacon and avocado to my sandwich. I've gotta say, this bagel sandwich was one of the worst that I've ever had. It was poorly constructed, messy, and there was barely any meat on it. The avocado was not fresh and ended up being overly ripe which made for an extremely messy sandwich. It was getting everywhere and it also overpowered the taste of everything else. When I first saw the sandwich, I thought that they maybe they had forgotten the meat. But nope... they just barely put any of it on there. Look, if I'm paying extra money for you to add on condiments, you better do it right. Please don't give me an OLD avocado and a few scraps of meat. This was seriously such a waste of money! I pushed my way through half of my sandwich and the other half was so messy that it ended up in the trash. Also, to pay $3 for a watered down mango iced tea is pretty absurd. The sad thing is, I only put a few cubes of ice in it because I don't like my drinks to be loaded up with tons of ice. So, that means the tea itself was already bland and watered down. I was so unimpressed with this place. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but there were too many things wrong with this situation to make me reconsider coming back at this point. Good service but that bagel sammy was NOT poppin'.
Haven't been an Uncle Harry's in over a decade and this was the location I visited the last time I did and they definitely did some major upgrades. Arrived around 11am there was a brunch rush. It's beautiful inside, open and plenty of tables indoor/out and some booths. They also have a a cozy couch area with a Christmas tree, this shop was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Ordered via the kiosk. Order: The EXTRA Naughty Beggelwich, Country Harvest Breakfast Sandwich, Cinnamon Croissant Ham Scrambler, 2 Small Sweet Cream Cold Brew with Almond Milk and NF Carmel. You can customize your sandwich and choose your bagel my husband and I ordered an everything bagel and garlic. Our order was brought out to us in about 10mins. Everything was hot and fresh and beautiful presented. Everything was delicious and very filling. The extra naughty had syrup on it which I didn't expect but it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet like regular syrup and surprisingly went well with the sandwich and the cheese was perfectly melted. My husband's Country Harvest was yum I loved the cracked pepper and herb cream cheese! The eggs on ham scrambler were fluffy and the dish as a whole was so good!!! The cinnamon croissant was nice and toasted. The sweet cream cold brew didn't look appealing but it was the icing on the cake to top the prefect brunch. Overall we had a great experience! The food was beyond amazing, the staff were so friendly the restaurant was clean and cozy! We're excited to return and try the other sandwiches! They offer rewards (signing up is free and easy) and love that you can also order ahead via their website for delivery and pickup.
I have been coming here for decades, and decided to bring my family for a bite. The experience was a mixed bag overall. Availibilty of seating and & decor in dining area as a whole were good. Service was okay, but unfortunately not timely, and well managed in my opinion. I felt that to-go/pick up orders were prioritized over in house eating orders. As shown in photos, they were not busy when we were awaiting our order. As I went up to the counter to check on our food, they said it was "coming up right now." Then, they couldn't quite locate the sandwich. It was placed in another area, and was wrapped so tightly, upon opening, it was quite mushy. It did need to get remade. The Meaty Cali and Strawberry Bagel with Strawberry Cream Cheese were great. Though it was following a lunch rush, there were many areas needing attention in the dining area such as dirty tables and seats, no napkins available, and no ice in the beverage machine. Again, I needed to go ask for items, and though there were 4+ employees behind the counter, with no other customers placing orders inside, there wasn't any employee proactively tending to the dining area with restocking or wiping tables. I love this place, for nostalgia reasons, flavors, and comfort. I hope the next time I visit, customer care and service is also extended to in house dining guests just as much as the to-go/pick up orders focus.
I had a $7 credit with toast app for my bday here so I decided to use it before it expired. I saw on the menu they had a bagelwhich called spicy & naughty. It came with maple butter, cheddar cheese, eggs, bacon, chorizo sausage, jalapeno cheddar cream cheese, and a touch of chipotle aioli.. hmm interesting. I went with that with a sesame bagel. It only came out to like $3 something cus I used the $7 credit. Wow! Nice! I did curbside but once I pulled up and texted the number nobody answered me.. they were going to close in like 10 minutes, idk if maybe that's why? I said fuck it I'll just go inside lol. I picked it up and it was still warm cus I asked for the bagel to be slightly toasted. Got home and tried it. I had mixed feelings about it. Cus of the sweetness from the maple and then the savory from the chorizo sausage and then the cheese comes in with the spicy cream cheese and chipotle aioli. The more I ate it the more I thought it tasted good. Now would I order that one again? Probably not but it was okay for a first time experience. Plus I only spent a little over $3 so I wasn't losing out on anything. I think I will just stick to the lox or the regular breakfast ones next time. So the next day came and curbside hit me back up asking me where I parked lmaooo. I just ignored it.
Today we ordered a ultimate bagelwhich on a French maple toast and the new Iced Brown Sugar Oat Matcha Latte. Today, I waited over 20 minutes because I was given the wrong drink order and had to wait for them to remake it. Once they remade the drink, it was presumably the wrong drink again because there was no sugar on the foam, and it tasted like watery milk with a hint of matcha. Due to the embarrassment, I will not ask the workers to make my drink a third time, so I left with the wrong, nasty drink. I've had their matcha multiple times, so I know this is not how it is supposed to taste. When they first handed me the wrong drink, I let them know that it was the wrong drink and they had taken it away from me. I don't know what they planned to do with a drink that another customer had touched. It would be a disappointment if they threw away a large specialty drink. My bagel had no issues and came out hot and fresh per usual. I've never had this happen before, so I'm highly disappointed with today's experience and hope for a better one next time. I assume the workers were rushing to get everyone's drinks out, but I would rather wait and have my drink done correctly than be pushed out.
when my hot water heater stopped working, i needed a fast replacement. i called a few different plumbers and also checked with some big home improvement stores. eduardo from the plumbing company gave me the best price by far. he offered to let me buy the water heater myself and just pay him for the installation, or he could get it from his own supplier. i found a similar model online, but when i gave eduardo the details, he got back to me in less than half an hour with an even better deal, and he also offered to pick up and deliver the water heater to my house. eduardo scheduled me for the very next day and even called ahead to see if coming early would work for me. he showed up on time, put in a new shut off valve at no extra charge, and made sure to clean up the area really well—including dirt and dust that were already there before he started working. his installation was fast and professional, and everything worked perfectly. in california, it can get pretty warm, so having reliable hot water is a must, and finding an honest and skilled plumber is so important. i’m really happy with the service and will call them again if i ever need plumbing help. i highly recommend their work.
our new plumber, scott, showed up right on time and called ahead to let me know when he'd arrive, which was really helpful. he checked out our whole plumbing system and pointed out some serious issues, like leaking valves, corrosion, a cracked pressure device, and a water meter that was completely rusted and leaking. he explained everything clearly and gave me three different options with prices. i really liked that he kept me updated during every step of the repairs and upgrades. he was very professional, friendly, and made sure our dogs stayed safe by closing doors and securing the side gate. scott was super knowledgeable and used great problem-solving skills to install new plumbing in our old, drafty house with a really nasty, smelly cellar (it honestly feels like a dungeon down there). he and bryan worked in that awful basement for hours without complaining. i was so happy with my new washer, and you could tell he was genuinely glad for me. he truly saved the day and did an amazing job. i'll definitely call 1st fresno plumbing again for any plumbing work and will recommend them to everyone!
I recently had a great experience with a plumbing service in Fresno when I needed a new tankless water heater installed. Scott, Levi, and Eduardo were the plumbers who came out, and they did an excellent job from start to finish. Their teamwork really stood out, and it was clear they knew what they were doing and worked hard to get everything just right. Scott took the time to walk me through the whole installation process, explained my different options, and answered all my questions in a way that made sense. Even when they ran into a couple of surprises while working, they handled it smoothly and made sure everything was installed perfectly. The crew paid close attention to every detail, double-checking their work to make sure my new tankless water heater would work just how I needed. Now, I have reliable hot water, and the system is running better than I expected. I highly recommend this plumbing team in Fresno, especially Scott, Levi, and Eduardo, for anyone looking for friendly, professional, and skilled plumbers. They truly went the extra mile!
This has to be my go to when I'm wanting a fast but filling breakfast! Can't go wrong with a fresh bagel and their cream cheese shmears! They can get pretty busy but they definitely know how to get people in and out! My first time here I tried the traditional lox sandwich and fell in love! My go to! I've tried it with pesto bagel and another time with ny onion bagel. Yum! Hubby ordered the ultimate sandwich . He said it was delicious but can probably serve 2. Lol the next time, he ordered a garlic bagel with regular cream cheese shmear. If you love garlic like we do, you'll love the garlic bagel. Just make sure you pop a mint after. Lol! There's plenty of tables to sit. As soon as customers are finished, the staff is on it and already wiping down the table for a new customer. Customer service is everything. They're very honest with what they personally recommend but also give input in what is popular. I appreciate the honesty. Thanks! We will be back again and again!
Ordered breakfast through a third party app. Had some changes on the order that the sandwich maker didn't see. Which in turn needed up having us call Uncle Harry's to inquire about our order. Being from out of town, had to head back down to Uncle Harry's and show the receipt with the wrong order. They gladly rectified their mistake. Unfortunately it cost us an Uber ride to leave our air bnb thus adding more frustration and money. Overall the quality of the food was good once they got it right. Coffee was strong and flavorful. I'd suggest a quality control be implemented whether it's the employees making the food or the individual packaging each to go order and ensuring a sandwich is a sandwich verses a plain bagel in a paper bag. We all know the other name brand big box breakfast shops we can all go to. Yet when we are exploring new places, we try to support local mom and pops shops. Please do better on truly ensuring orders are correct before shoving items in bags.
