First off, this company was referred to me by several people. I called for a clog in my main pipe and they came out the same day. They were able to diagnose the problem, explain everything and had it all fixed quickly (Seriously about an hour total). The overall price was very fair and I will absolutely use 1896/the drain guys in the future if I ever need anything plumbing-related again.

Don't use them they're very unprofessional. I waited most of the day for service on a non‑working boiler while caring for a toddler in a cold home. When the technician finally arrived, he refused to provide service and left immediately because the parking situation wasn’t “ideal.” This was an urgent no‑heat situation, and leaving without even attempting to help was unacceptable and put my family at risk.

I had issues with my 40+year old boiler not working very efficiently, I contacted Murphy Mechanical through several references that had previously had work done by them, he explained to me that my boiler was very inefficient and that with current technology and systems, that with a new system almost 90-95% efficiency it would be cost effective to have a updated system installed and that I would see immediate results in my heating and a/c bills. I couldn't be happier with my new system, and with the service Ryan and his workers installed and provided. I would recommend him for any service or installation needs. He is very personable and explained everything to me in detail.

Called after hours on a Friday and they showed up right away to handle the problem. This is the second time I’ve had then in my old Worcester home to assist with old pipes. Communication was A+ and they solved the drain issue quickly and professionally. After the job was complete, they made recommendations to resolve the main issues moving forward. I won’t hesitate to call in the future for any drain needs. Thanks so much!

All plumbers are not equal!!! I had Landry’s come out to change a faucet, I had purchased. All the guys were nice except it turned into a long appointment where they couldn’t turn off the water so… the new estimate was about 300% more. 1896/The Drain Guys came out and had it all fixed in an hour for a fraction of the cost. The best thank you!!!!

Excellent experience with this company. We had a clogged kitchen sink. I called Sunday evening and they were there Monday morning. They were efficient and very reasonably priced. They were half the price of a different company that I received a quote from.

I recently experienced a sewer backup, and 1896 Plumbing Services was able to assist with the repair. They were efficient, punctual, and offered their services at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing services.
